The Making of “Ascending Koi”
Every bespoke watch begins with a story.
This video captures part of the hand engraving process behind one of my favorite commissions—an “Ascending Koi” inspired Tudor bracelet, symbolizing perseverance, transformation, and the pursuit of something greater.
From transferring the design onto steel to engraving every scale, flowing current, and gold inlay, each detail was completed entirely by hand.
For me, engraving is more than decoration. It is about creating a piece that carries meaning and becomes part of its owner’s story.
