　　2013年春天，台南人劇團進駐321巷藝術聚落，以199號房舍為基地，取名「台南人戲花園」，希冀使其成為台南人們看戲做戲、分享交流的後花園，活絡多元藝術型態的交流與跨界合作。

　　這座花園老屋的歲月痕跡及特殊氛圍讓參觀者得以想像各時期的生活況味，演出團隊也將此地作為創作發想基地、成為另類的演出場域，善用劇場性來延伸拓展建築空間與人的關係，進而改變觀眾對劇場空間運用的想像。

　　《321小戲節》是劇團為321巷藝術聚落量身訂作的特別儀式，其創作精神強調打破慣性、跨越疆界、撞擊出更多的想像與火花，演化新型態的藝術觀演行為，是民眾參與多元藝術形式的交流平台，已成為台南民眾每年期待的藝術盛典。
