Sunset Tower 日落塔

Sunset Tower 日落塔 In 2013, Tainan-based artist Hugo decided to start building a structure on the coast of Tainan using washed up woodwork and string.

Little did he realize that what he actually started was a major project that would grow bigger and bigger over time. The beauty of the tower is its simplistic motivation: to try something new. After each project installment, plans are mostly spur-of-the-moment. The question is always: what can we do next? Over the years, the transformation of the tower have been amazing. We urge you to continue to share this journey with us! Who knows where we might be next year?
