瑞成書局係許克綏先生於1912年在台中創立，時值日本統台灣，許先生目睹日文書刊充斥市面，為使傳統文化命脈得以延續，特成立本書店專售漢文書籍，雖屢遭日警搜索拘禁，始終不改其志。
Regent Store was founded in Taichung in 1912 by Ke Sui Hsu. For carrying on the life of cultural traditions, Mr. Hsu established Regent Store, which sells Chinese books. Although he was caught and cooped up by the Japanese police many times, he has never changed his will.
許先生樂善好施，慈悲喜捨，戰後隨李炳南老師修習佛法，護持創辦
佛教蓮社、圖書館、育幼院等，對於弘揚佛法與推展慈善公益不遺餘力。
He is a good Samaritan. He is also kind, sympathetic, joyful and unselfish. After the war, he followed Ping Nan Li’s steps to learn Buddhism. He contributed generously to the Buddhist Lotus Association, libraries, protectories and so on. He spares no efforts to promote Buddhism and charities.
瑞成書局創立迄今，已滿百年，為台灣現存最老書店。一貫堅守「勤、儉、誠、信、慈」企業精神，專業於「心靈、宗教、五術、人文」典籍文物之經營。為了地球環保及生態永續，現更致力於推展生態農法與身心靈健康事業。
So far, Regent Store already has a history of 100 years. It is also the earliest bookstore in Taiwan. Regent Store holds the five enterprise spirits “diligence, frugality, sincereness, honesty, kindliness” and specializes in “mind, religious, Chinese Five Theories , humanities” books and cultural relics. For the environment of the Earth and the sustainability of ecology, now Regent Store devotes to promoting Biodynamic Agriculture and body mind health enterprises.
