Lost Tribe Carnival A Revolution of Mas Our Story
An Alternative Concept. A Hybrid of Carnival. And so, The Lost Tribe came to be. In 2017, we bringing the RIDDIM to the stage.

A Revolution of Mas

In 2015, a cry was heard – a resounding demand for theatre and drama and extravagance to return to the streets of Port of Spain. A movement that attracted those who for so long have wished to be part of a different story, a different experience. The Lost Tribe seeks to bridge the gap between the traditional and contemporary, to welcome into its folds the storytellers, the dancers, the thespians who live inside us all. The Lost Tribe sprung forth on the black carpet of the capital, baked and risen in the blistering heat; and in 2016, the Savannah welcomed us with open arms. From Manhattan to Brooklyn. 🇹🇹🗽

Our New York journey continued at Wi Style 2026, curated by ! A celebration of Caribbean fashion, culture, creativity and community.

This one felt special in a completely different way.

After taking the runway in Manhattan, Wi Style brought us into a space that felt deeply rooted in Caribbean community! We were surrounded by creatives, supporters and members of the diaspora, all showing up to celebrate what we create and where we come from.

For THE LOST TRIBE, bringing mas into spaces like these is about so much more than showcasing a costume.

It’s the craftsmanship.
The movement.
The storytelling.
The people.
The culture.
