This......will take some time. Time to process, time to believe and time to really accept that 'mih ghul' has gone to rest.

Mrs. Cecile Beckles was no ordinary client; in fact, all of my clients are truly special, but when clients know you from the days of khaki short pants and blue school shirts and black 'washeykong', know that the river runs deep.

You championed me from the simple days to the colourful artistic transition that I've made over the years. You never wavered in your trust in the brand, you would declare boldly and without apology that you wanted no one else to attend to you, you never wavered in your trust in me!

You were first my mother's friend and then her ally, making sure we kept on the straight and narrow, watching all of us grow into adults with pride, as though we were also your children.

Thank you for the love. Thank you for the trust you had in me. Thank you for the gift you have left in your Legacy in Tobago.

And the thing was Opulent.

I’ve been to many countries for Fashion Week, presented on numerous catwalks, but this is my own island pride walk, and it’s my proudest!

We’ve never had this opportunity before in Tobago and for The Office of the Chief Secretary - THA and the Chief Administrator to see the value of this niche and stand behind it, grateful is an understatement!
