Congratulations to 3 of our members who weren’t just finalists, but placed in top 3 positions in their categories of the Live@Lunch Simply Jazz Competition on Friday 15th May, 2020 🎉🙌🏽🍾
m placed 3rd in the instrumentalists category with a spanking drum solo 🥁 clearly contradicting the narrative that drums can’t be a solo instrument.

placed 1st in the same category with a breathtaking arrangement of Misty on the guitar 🎸

Our honorary member coped 2nd place in the vocalists 🎤 categories and was awarded the title “Best New Artiste.” Filicia has always been behind the scenes in this organization as a writer/arranger.

We look forward to bigger and better things from the VME family....

As 2019 draws to a close, I would just like to express my heartfelt gratitude for all your support for my album ‘Christmas Where I'm From.’ It was a first of this kind for me but the response and recognition has been overwhelming and for that I thank all of you. Look out for much more and even better from me for 2020 onwards. It's only going to get better.
