From learning to the stage! 🎤🎶

As the Music Festival Development Academy 2026 comes to a close, TPAC Artistic Resident Cherysh LaTouche joined fellow camp partners Curtis Collins of the Tobago Music Association and Shurvone Braithwaithe of the National Academy for the Performing Arts (NAPA) on Tobago Updates to share more about the programme and the growth they’ve seen in its young participants.

Over the past few weeks, students have strengthened their skills across several areas of music and vocal training, while developing much more than musical ability. Cherysh highlighted the role of music education in building confidence, critical thinking, interpersonal skills, and overall cognitive development.

Now, it’s time to see what they’ve learned!

Join the campers for the camp's Closing Recital and Showcase tomorrow, Friday 14 August, at 1:00 p.m. at the Scarborough Library, as they take the stage to celebrate and showcase their progress.

Watch the interview to learn more, then come out and support Tobago’s young musical talent! 🎶👏

Movement, rhythm and plenty Tobago energy!💃🏾⚡

Our Artistic Residents were in their element at the THA Administrators’ Meeting last Friday, where TPAC was invited to bring a cultural touch to the gathering through dance and live performance.

The smiles at the entrance said it all, as attendees enjoyed a warm cultural welcome from our dancers, who later brought even more energy to the event with their performances.

Swipe through for a few moments from the occasion!

Every gathering is an opportunity to let Tobago’s culture speak. 💃🏾🥁

TPAC was pleased to bring the performing arts to the THA Administrators’ Meeting at the Pigeon Point Pavilion, where our Artistic Residents welcomed attendees with traditional dance and movement, and continued the cultural experience with performances during the event.

From corporate engagements to community and cultural events, we’re always proud to help create memorable experiences through Tobago’s performing arts.

Thank you to the Division of Tourism, Antiquities & Creative Industries for inviting TPAC to be part of this special event!

Inspiring the next generation of musicians, one lesson at a time. 🎶

Through our partnership with the Division of Education, Skills & Innovation's Music Festival Development Academy 2026, TPAC is proud to support the development of Tobago's young musical talent.

Our Artistic Residents and Music Unit members have been working alongside students across the island, sharing their knowledge in vocal music and guitar while helping to build confidence, creativity and performance skills as students prepare for the upcoming Tobago Schools Music Festival.

These moments are a reminder that the performing arts don't just entertain: they educate, inspire and empower the next generation.

Stay tuned as we share more highlights and hear directly from our facilitators and partners! 🎥🎵
