THE BATTLE IS WON!

There is a battle going on between the earth and sky,
with Satan, the god of this world, and Jesus who reigns on high.
The prize is the eternal soul that lies in
every man;
Satan strives to take control, man’s precious soul to damn.
When you came into this world, you were born with Adam’s sin;
And so, the Scripture plainly says “Ye must be born again!
Your sin will separate you from God for all eternity,
And that’s why Jesus gave His life for sin, to set you free.
Because God is a holy God and heaven his abode,
You cannot enter Paradise with your sinful, heavy load.
Jesus was God’s sacrifice to purge your sin and dross,
In love for you, he bled and died on Calvary’s cruel cross.
But the tomb could not hold him captive, for the Son of God is He,
And in three days and nights He rose again and won the victory!
For you He’s won the battle, over death, sin and the grave;
No longer aught you to Satan bow, or of sin to be a slave.
But God’s love is pure and gentle; He’ll not force upon your will;
And though you’ve spurned Him many times, His hands are stretched out still.
Christ’s blood will cover all your sin, if you open your heart’s door;
But one day soon, God’s wondrous grace, for you may be no more!
So now’s the time! You must decide who will have control!
Satan who loves your every sin, or Christ who saves your soul!
For Satan knows that if you stay the way you’ve always been,
You shall spend eternity, forever damned by your sin!
And when you stand before the throne on God’s great judgement day,
You’ll answer for His love you’ve spurned, and your soul He’ll cast away;
Far from his face forever, in the flaming fires of hell;
Where you will spend eternity with the one you’ve served so well.
But your time is short; for no one knows just what a day may bring!
Only Jesus is the way to heav’n, if you must enter in.
So what will be your eternal fate? Will you to Jesus bow?
The choice is entirely up to you; And the accepted time is NOW
