For Ann Barbara Applewhite - director of SSBDTS is the realization of a life long dream. She has been involved in Ballroom Dancing for over 30 years and her qualifications include DVIDA - Associate of Dance Degree - American Style Smooth (Waltz, Foxtrot, Tango, Viennese Waltz) and IDTA - Ballroom and Latin - Double Bronze International Style. Nicole Applewhite is a DVID

A Regional Examiner, Grand Master Teacher and Co-Director whose love for dance began in Secondary School. Her list of dancing certifications are impressive and includes:
- Grand Master of Dance Degree - American Smooth (Waltz, Foxtrot, Tango, Viennese Waltz)
- Master of Dance Degree - American Smooth (Waltz, Foxtrot, Tango, Viennese Waltz)
