The Annual Act It Out Theatre Festival, a series of (5) different shows staged over (5) consecutive days, is the newest addition to the annual Trinidad and Tobago Entertainment and Cultural Calendar. It is a fun-filled and engaging festival for local and regional audiences.

The Annual Act It Out Theatre Festival will enable patrons to truly experience Trinidad and Tobago’s culture through the medium of theatre and the arts and will appeal to audiences from all walks of life and ethnic backgrounds. The Steven Edwards Productions Company is bringing the Act It Out Theatre Festival, a proven and winning production, to the national stage this year. This one-of-a-kind event has been endorsed by the likes of Tony Hall, Jessie May Ventour, Hema Ramkissoon, and Roger Alexis, creator of I’m Santana series. Steven Edwards Productions (SPE) is an award-winning non-profit organization that uses the medium of theatre and the arts to provide positive alternatives, hope and a new focus to vulnerable youth engaged in arms/narcotics trafficking, the commercial s*x trade and/or other criminal and illegal activity. On the heels of winning two major awards for this important initiative in 2012, The Ideas to Innovation and The Best Recent Service in the TTCSI’s Excellence in Service awards respectively, Steven Edwards Productions is embarking on a new project, its first Annual Act It Out Theatre Festival. The Act It Out Theatre has been playing regionally and at various private functions for several years. It has received accolades from many local private sector entities, government ministries and officials, as well as the Antiguan Prime Minister, the Canadian High Commissioner and the Costa Rican Ambassador, which attest to the international standard, professionalism and entertainment value of the productions. SPE has also been invited to host this festival in October 2013 at the Antigua Youth for Christ, which has been endorsed by Antigua’s Minister of Culture and the Prime Minister, among others.
