Aneesha Baldeosingh's Biography:

Emerging artist Aneesha Baldeosingh questions the “in between” space through her abstract paintings and drawings that are both textural and atmospheric. Recycling newspaper from where she was born and raised, Trinidad and Tobago, she creates handmade paper as her drawing surface. where she conducted numerous workshops and was featured in the Timeline Exhibition t

here. While exhibiting her work in Trinidad, she is presently in the Alumni Invitational Exhibition at Eugenia Summer Gallery in Mississippi University for Women, where she received her B.F.A. in Studio Arts. National Wet Paint Exhibition at the Zhou B. Art Center in Chicago, Illinois, the Emerging Artist exhibition at the Sharon Lynne Wilson Center for the Arts in Brookfield, Wisconsin, and the Wisconsin Visual Artists Exhibition at Marian Gallery in Milwaukee, Wisconsin are only a few of the other places her work was featured in within the last 5 years. A couple of her past accomplishments includes receiving special recognition in the Upstream People Gallery International Juried Online Exhibition and honorable mention in the Photographers’ Forum Competition, with her work published in Best of Photography 2010. She attained both her M.A. and M.F.A degree at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and had the opportunity to teach at Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design as well as at the Art Institute of Wisconsin. She is now the Gallery Director at TALPS Ltd Contemporary Art Studio and Gallery where her goal is to enhance the understanding and the appreciation of Studio Arts through education and involvement of the community of Trinidad and Tobago.

Hey everyone, I would first off like to wish everyone a healthy and peaceful 2021. This year has been a challenge no doubt, and I do sincerely hope that you all are keeping safe.

We have officially closed the TALPS Art Studio space in Freeport. Therefore, we have scaled down... however, I, Aneesha Baldeosingh, will still be offering the option to do online art lessons. If you are interested in learning a particular skill in Visual Arts, please comment below so that I can create a course accordingly.

As for the in-person interactions... that will be minimized for everyone's safety.

I look forward to reading your comments, and my sincerest apologies on not updating sooner.

Hope everyone's 2020 is off to a good start. Here's what coming up at TALPS:

10-Week Art Course:

We're starting off this year with Acrylic Painting suitable for any level of experience (beginner to advanced).
The courses will start on Saturday 18 January @ 10:30 am. Each class will meet once a week for 3 hours.

Art Workshops:

This year, we plan on having one workshop per month, starting off with a special Valentine's Day Workshop on February 15 @ 3:30 pm. This workshop will be specially tailored for couples and a complimentary glass of wine will be provided.
