Proof that staying in your purpose means business can find you ANYWHERE! ✈️✨
Last weekend, I took a quick trip to Tobago with my parents and some family friends for a little rest and relaxation.
Friday was a whirlwind—after arriving around 2:00 PM, enjoying a good Tobago lunch, hitting the beach, and getting refreshed, I jumped straight online to teach a scheduled student from 5:30 to 6:30 PM.
Right after that, I met up with a Tobagonian mother who brought her daughter to the guesthouse for her very first session! ✍️
By Saturday evening, I was completely in vacation mode. While hanging out at the bar, I saw a couple taking a picture and couldn't resist doing a quick photobomb! 📸
Later on, that same couple came over to relax at the bar with our group. The woman laughed and said, "I’d love to send you the picture! What’s your number?"
When she added my contact, my WhatsApp displayed my business name: Calligraphy Curves by Vanessa...
She immediately asked what I do, and I shared my passion for teaching penmanship and script.
She was so inspired that she enrolled herself !Today!🎉 She’s flying back home to Canada next week, and as soon as she settles in, we start our online sessions together. 🇨🇦✨
You never know who you’re going to meet, where a simple playful moment might lead, or how being unapologetically visible in your business can attract new adult learners—even when photobombing on vacation!
It’s never too late to invest in yourself or learn a new skill. ❤️
