For four decades, Divali Nagar has stood as a symbol of culture, heritage, unity and national pride. What began in 1986 as a vision has grown into one of Trinidad and Tobago’s most celebrated cultural festivals, bringing together generations through music, dance, art, cuisine, spirituality and the timeless values of our ancestors.

As we celebrate this remarkable milestone, the National Council of Indian Culture expresses heartfelt gratitude to every volunteer, patron, performer, sponsor, exhibitor, committee member and supporter who has contributed to this extraordinary journey. Your dedication, generosity and belief in our mission have helped shape Divali Nagar into the vibrant celebration it is today.

This 40th anniversary is not only a celebration of our past but also a tribute to the countless individuals whose commitment has kept the flame of our culture burning brightly for future generations.
