“I wasn’t representing anyone, except for me! And- and myself! And- and- and… good, I dunno, doing good!”

This quote, and “people were going to die” were all I needed to know I would love this version of Superman, someone who helps people simply because they need help. While not a perfect movie, to me the interview scene with Clark Kent and Lois Lane establishes both of their character’s brilliantly, and highlights the actors’ chemistry beautifully!

Look Up!

Today marks 1 year since Superman 2025 released, a movie that at first I was skeptical of, but quickly fell in love with after seeing it in cinemas. David Corenswet beautifully embodied perhaps my favourite version of the Man of Steel to date, working with James Gunn to bring a depth to the character, to show us the MAN, rather than solely focusing on the SUPER

Absolutely love this slightly more intimate Superman photo. Presently watching the movie again and I have always been a big fan of James Gunn focusing on the Man, rather than the Super, getting to see the Man of Steel be vulnerable and more human than other iterations.

Today is the day!! Another rewatch of Interview with the Vampire was completed ahead of the premiere of The Vampire Lestat, I am so ready for the return of The Brat Prince, Lestat de Lioncourt, as well as Louis du Lac & Daniel Molloy! (Armand too I guess) 🦇

“I am the vampire Lestat”

Can’t believe it’s only a week until the third season of Interview with the Vampire! I am very excited to see my favourite himbo Lestat de Lioncourt back!

I’ve only been into the show for a short while, but his personality and relationship with Louis de Pointe du Lac really captured me, so I am looking forward to seeing their dynamic continue in this newest season!
