Hi friends, I’m excited to share my latest illustration, ‘Finding Self,’ which was inspired by the deep self-reflection I experienced throughout last year. 2024 has been a pivotal year for me, a year of growth. I’ve met incredible people, forged amazing friendships, traveled to new countries, and walked countless steps exploring some of the most beautiful places while learning more about history. I’ve encountered inspiring artworks and sculptures that truly left an impression.
Looking back, 2024 both with its challenges and triumphs has reshaped my perspectives and beliefs in many ways. I’ve been jotting down new ideas, (if only I showed you the amount of notes I have😅) and I can’t wait to create them and share them with you.
This piece has been a work in progress over the last few months. While art took a temporary backseat, I’ve also honed other important skills through our house reno projects, which going forward I believe will contribute to my creativity and inspirations. I hope you enjoy this illustration, and I’m deeply grateful for your ongoing support of my art. Fingers crossed, I plan to return full-time by the end of next week.🙏🏻💕☺️

Prints for ‘Finding Self’ will be available on my website www.meltsart.com by the end of this week 💖🧚🏼‍♀️

What a weekend! From the bottom of my heart, I want to sincerely thank everyone who came out to my solo exhibition. It truly was an amazing experience connecting with all of you and hearing your stories about which artwork resonated with you and why. Stepping out of my comfort zone with this event as an emerging artist was definitely daunting, but all your positive feedback reminded me once more why being a creative is my passion. I can’t quite find the words to express my gratitude!🙏🏻🥹

As a woman, I was deeply moved to hear so many amazing sisters express their pride in how my illustrations represented the diverse aspects of womanhood. This experience has not only filled me with a sense of accomplishment and purpose but also reignited my motivation to keep pushing my boundaries and keep connecting with other individuals in real life through art. Once again, thank you all so much for your support, kind words and time🙏🏻💖💖! Also, shout out to all my loved ones who encouraged and supported me throughout this entire event. I am so blessed to be surrounded by such beautiful souls!🥺🥰💕

Hi friends!
I’ve been MIA once again as I’ve been travelling and working frantically on my upcoming solo exhibition😅. Although social events are always a little nerve-wracking for introverts such as myself, I also believe as artists, when given the opportunity, it is essential to go beyond social media algorithm and represent our art in real life to connect with other individuals. So, I really pushed myself out of my comfort zone this time and decided to organise my very first solo exhibition. Although it was a lot of work to do this internationally, everything is coming together nicely!!☺️Not only am I excited, but I am also grateful for this opportunity and for the people who have been supporting my efforts to make this happen🥹. The gallery is open to public with free entry and the opening will be at 2pm this Saturday. Samsun Arts Centre is located right by the beach and the atmosphere there is quite beautiful! If you happen to be around the Black Sea area in Turkiye, come and say hello!💕🧚🏻‍♀️☺️

‘Soldier On’ digital illustration

Hi friends👋🏻! We have been travelling non stop to historical places so far and calling them inspirational would be an understatement. I already have so many ideas for my next illustrations☺️. This piece also feels even more special to me now after seeing how significant feline symbolism was throughout the ages. Today we will be visiting Gobekli Tepe which has been baffling scientists and archeologists ever since it has been discovered. It is from the end of Paleolithic Age and there are quite a few theories surrounding the mysteries of this place. I’ve been waiting years to see it myself and I am quite excited. I highly recommend checking it out to my fellow friends out there who are also interested in ancient civilisations and 👽😉

The prints for ‘Soldier On’ are now available on my website🧚🏼‍♀️. Just a quick reminder again, all of the orders placed between now till the end of October will be shipped after the 5th of November as that’s when I will be back in Australia. Once again, thank you so much for supporting my creative journey💖🙏🏻

Hi friends, I present to you my new illustration titled ‘Balance’ . 🧚🏼‍♀️

So we’ve been rewatching Avatar again and the scene with the moon spirit has inspired me to illustrate this piece. One of my absolute fav Uncle Iroh moments is the scene where he yells at Zhao “….we all depend on the balance. Whatever you do to that spirit, I’ll unleash on you tenfold! Let it go now”. I think we all need an uncle Iroh in our lives☺️

Hi guys! I present to you my latest illustration ‘Inner Growth’

Often when we talk about personal growth, we usually recall the hardships we endured, the lessons we learned and how they shaped us, etc.. However, in reality, I think we confuse change with growth and here is why:

This applies to anything but let’s say each betrayal we experience in life makes us more cynical and less naive, Is this change actual growth? Because some remain cynical and bitter towards the idea of ever fully trusting again and some, though more cautious, continually choose to trust. They take the risk of pain and suffering over and over again because their belief in good outweighs the risk of another betrayal. I think rather than the involuntary change itself, growth is actively choosing how to shape that change. We all have a story that ends with ‘and after that I was never the same’ or ‘my life completely changed’. Yet our voluntary act of growth gets nowhere near as much credit as the experience that changed us.

Never the same - how?
Your life changed - yes but how did you shape that change into what your life is today?

I guess my definition of inner growth is: recognising involuntary changes within ourselves, yet actively working towards a better self, whether it is setting goals or going to therapy and even calling ourselves out on unhealthy behaviour. This slowly leads to understanding one’s true purpose and the meaning to life. This illustration represents how I imagine inner growth. So, if you’ve read this far, remember we are really complex beings and give yourself more credit for all that hard work 💪🏻💖

Hi friends, I present to you my latest illustration ‘Mother Nature’.

Just like my previous artwork ‘Nocturne Picnic’, This piece was inspired by our many hikes and camps out in forests. We haven’t visited any forests this summer (especially with the ongoing fire risks). So, I am really looking forward to upcoming winter camps again! I think forests are one of the best places to disconnect and find inspiration. I’ll be sharing some photos I have taken during our previous trips as I think they would make great reference photos for anyone looking to paint nature🌳! I always find myself going back to them during my forest inspired illustrations. I hope they will be helpful to you too😊. All photos will be highlighted on my page for future access- feel free to screenshot and use them🧚🏼‍♀️

The prints for this piece will be available in my shop www.meltsart.com 💚

Hi friends, I present to you my newest illustration titled ‘The Spine’.

Sometimes those of us who seem timid and vulnerable may have the sharpest claws. If forced into a corner enough, the efforts to conceal those claws can fail and they will come out - perhaps not to destroy, but certainly to defend; defend her peace and her soul.

My fellow artist friends out there, what was something with such intricate detail that you painted and by the end did not want to paint it again for a looong time? For me it was painting all the elements of this zip individually. After hours and hours of painful process, I can confidently say that I do not want to paint any other zippers for a while😂. But hey, I think it was worth it for the texture.

The prints will be available on my website tomorrow www.meltsart.com. If you’re on my email list, you will receive a direct notification as they drop on my website 💖🧚🏼‍♀️
