Ungatekeeping my knowledge as a micro-realism artist. What do you think about this technique?
Most fine line and realistic pet tattoos fade or turn blurry over time because artists rely solely on soft, diluted grey washes. On fresh skin for a photo, it looks seamless. Once healed, the skin naturally softens the ink, and those delicate details get lost.
THE KEY: MINIMIZE THE TRAUMA, DON'T BE AFRAID TO ADD SOME CONTRAST, THINK ABOUT THE HEALED VERSION WHEN YOU TATTOING.
