We are truly happy to share the World Refugee Day video which features the involvement of the several persons and institutions united to celebrate this day among which the UNHCR, the French Consulate and IOM.

The moving performances of Rama Mani and Enzo İkah ( Enzo Ikah Official Page) gave to the audience a wonderful hint of poetry for dealing with such a topic.

On Friday 20th of June, for the World Refugee Day, IOM had the pleasure in coordination with the French Consulate and the UNHCR to organize a night of moving poetry performance undertaken by Rama Mani.

IOM is currently organizing the upcoming visit of Dr. Rama Mani, an activist and poet performer working on post conflict and conflict migration, in Istanbul.
Along her career, Dr. Rama Mani's has been keen on combining arts and academic knowledge. Her performances are focused on the refugees' and migrants' testimonies transmission through poetry declamation performances.

Moreover, Rama Mani has a particular interest in the role of art and artists in conflict and migration situations.
She interviewed many artists all over the world and has given many lectures and performances on the topic of ''the Art of Transformation''.

IOM is currently facilitating the organization of Dr. Rama Mani's visit in Istanbul where she will have the opportunity to perform and to meet with various actors involved in conflict migrations.

Management of Irregular Migration in the Context of EU-Turkey Relations

The article published by TESEV Foreign Policy Programme and written by Fulya Memişoğlu reflects on the signing of the EU-Turkey Readmission Agreement and sheds light onto the developments that led to this agreement.

In this regard, Memişoğlu draws on Turkey's unique status as a country of origin, transit and destination for migrants and the reasons of the EU's externalisation policy regarding migration. She also examines the human rights concerns revolving around the Readmission Agreement.
