T H E P I L L®️ is delighted to announce that 𝐍𝐢𝐥 𝐘𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐞𝐫's seminal installation 𝘈𝘮𝘣𝘢𝘴𝘴𝘢𝘋𝘙𝘌𝘚𝘚 is on view in the exhibition 𝑺𝑨𝑵𝑺 𝑪𝑶𝑵𝑻𝑹𝑬𝑭𝑨Ç𝑶𝑵 — 𝑨𝒏𝒂𝒕𝒐𝒎𝒊𝒆 𝒅'𝒖𝒏 𝒗ê𝒕𝒆𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕 at the Frac-Artothèque Nouvelle-Aquitaine.

On view through October 31, a monographic focus is dedicated to 𝐍𝐢𝐥 𝐘𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐞𝐫. Composed of a 1928 Lanvin haute couture dress, a single-channel video, photographs, and drawings, 𝘈𝘮𝘣𝘢𝘴𝘴𝘢𝘋𝘙𝘌𝘚𝘚 draws on archival material to intertwine fact and fiction. Through the story of an ambassador's wife in N**i Germany, 𝐘𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐞𝐫 examines the relationships between clothing, power, privilege, and historical violence, revealing the dress as both a political object and a witness to history.

Curated by 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐞 𝐃𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧, 𝑺𝑨𝑵𝑺 𝑪𝑶𝑵𝑻𝑹𝑬𝑭𝑨Ç𝑶𝑵 — 𝑨𝒏𝒂𝒕𝒐𝒎𝒊𝒆 𝒅'𝒖𝒏 𝒗ê𝒕𝒆𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕 inaugurates a long-term curatorial programme at the Frac-Artothèque Nouvelle-Aquitaine, unfolding in successive chapters through 2027. Drawing on the history of the Charles-Michels building—a former department store for textiles, clothing, and accessories—the exhibition explores garments as markers of identity, labour, memory, migration, and resistance, examining the many ways clothing shapes our individual and collective histories.

Last days to see 𝗔𝗽𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗮 𝗦𝗼𝗸𝗼𝗹 ()’s Stamina - Tenax as part of the exhibition 𝘼𝙧𝙩𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙨’ 𝙁𝙖𝙘𝙚𝙨 at the Petit Palais museum in Paris (Petit Palais).  In her polyptych, Apolonia Sokol revisits Gustave Courbet’s The Sleepers, placing the artist’s self-portrait at the center of a studio scene. Surrounded by her assistants, she reflects on the working relationships and gestures of care that underpin her creative process. On the reverse side, Sokol paints her personal pantheon—her mother and relatives within the LMP theater where she grew up—in reference to Fernand Pelez’s The Entertainers. Nefeli Papadimouli’s second solo exhibition 𝙄𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙁𝙤𝙡𝙙𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙒𝙤𝙧𝙡𝙙, 𝙀𝙣𝙙𝙡𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙡𝙮 is on view through July 18.

Working at the intersection of sculpture, painting, textile, architecture, and performance, Papadimouli brings together vast painted textile landscapes and sculptural assemblages that function simultaneously as pictorial surfaces, shelters, bodily vessels, and prosthetic extensions. Her sculptures operate as archives of corporeal experience — preserving fragments of the human form while opening new modes of movement, interaction, and collective presence. Disjointed sculptural fragments designed for specific parts of the body are held together by textile skins that simultaneously bind, restrain, and regenerate the human figure into new articulations. The exhibition continuously shifts scale—from the fragment of a body, to the collective body, to the landscape. Through these movements, the artist investigates the relational ecosystems that emerge when material bodies encounter one another and their environments.

The exhibition runs in parallel with the artist’s monographic exhibition 𝙂𝙖𝙧𝙙𝙚𝙣 𝙤𝙛 𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙤𝙣𝙨 at Le Grand Café Art Center in St-Nazaire and the presentation of recent works at the FRAC Arthotèque on the occasion of 𝙎𝙖𝙣𝙨 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙧𝙚𝙛𝙖ç𝙤𝙣 — 𝘼𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙤𝙢𝙞𝙚 𝙙’𝙪𝙣 𝙫ê𝙩𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 curated by Marianne Derrien & Catherine Texier.

T H E P I L L® a le plaisir de présenter la deuxième exposition personnelle de Nefeli Papadimouli à Paris, In the Folds of the World, Endlessly. Réunissant un nouvel ensemble
d’œuvres, l’exposition s’ouvre avec Endlessly, une performance conçue pour la Nuit Blanche.
Au cœur de l’exposition se déploie la nouvelle série de l’artiste, Folders — un ensemble évolutif de sculptures portables ou de peintures composées de textiles peints et de performances qui examine la fragmentation du corps humain et sa recomposition à travers un assemblage de parties inter-connectées. Considérant notre présent catastrophique à la fois comme une archive corporelle et comme un point de départ, l’exposition interroge les frontières poreuses entre paysage et figure, organisme et environnement. S’inspirant des vocabulaires organiques de l’Art nouveau, Folders développe un langage de motifs géométriques abstraits issus de formes végétales et corporelles. La série explore la manière dont les corps, les communautés et les paysages traversent les crises,
embrassent l’impermanence et imaginent des voies de réparation et de résilience.

Au cours de la soirée de vernissage, les performeur·euses activent les textiles suspendus en se revêtant des paysages comme une seconde peau. Ce qui apparaît d’abord comme une image fixe subit progressivement une métamorphose radicale : la matière inerte devient épiderme vivant, le paysage se fait mouvement, tandis que le corps se dissout dans un environnement en perpétuelle transformation. La corporéité individuelle s’efface à mesure que le paysage émerge comme une présence collective incarnée, animée par la transformation continue des corps qui l’habitent. La performance envisage l’effondrement non comme une fin, mais comme une condition du renouvellement, où corps et paysages se dissolvent et se recomposent sans cesse dans de nouvelles formes d’existence collective. Dans cet espace de devenir perpétuel, In the Folds of the World, Endlessly imagine de nouvelles formes de coexistence fondées sur l’interdépendance, la résilience et la présence collective.

Presenting a new body of works, the exhibition opens with 𝘌𝘯𝘥𝘭𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘭𝘺, an ongoing performance conceived for Nuit Blanche from 7pm to 12 pm and will echo the artist’s monographic exhibition 𝙂𝙖𝙧𝙙𝙚𝙣 𝙤𝙛 𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙤𝙣𝙨 at Le Grand Café Art Center in St-Nazaire, as well as the presentation of her monumental installation 𝘐𝘥𝘪𝘰𝘱𝘰𝘭𝘪𝘴 at the FRAC Arthotèque on the occasion of 𝙎𝙖𝙣𝙨 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙧𝙚𝙛𝙖ç𝙤𝙣 — 𝘼𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙤𝙢𝙞𝙚 𝙙’𝙪𝙣 𝙫ê𝙩𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 curated by Marianne Derrien & Catherine Texier.

Positioning our catastrophic present as both a bodily archive and a point of departure, the exhibition reflects on the porous boundaries between landscape and figure, organism and environment. Drawing on the organic vocabularies of Art Nouveau, 𝘍𝘰𝘭𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘴 develops a language of abstract geometric motifs and patterns derived from vegetal and bodily forms. The series investigates how bodies, communities, and landscapes respond to crisis, embrace impermanence, and imagine pathways toward repair and resilience.

İrem Günaydın’s solo exhibition ABOUT THE ARTIST has been extended until July 25.
Transforming the gallery space into an immersive environment shaped by currency exchange records, real-time data flows, and a monumental sculptural presence, the exhibition traces a recent history of dispossession in Turkey through the evolution of foreign exchange rates over the last 24 years. Bringing together institutional critique, para-fictional strategies, and sculptural repetition, ABOUT THE ARTIST unfolds as both an atmospheric installation and a counter-archive against organized amnesia.

Through a concise yet highly elastic visual and conceptual vocabulary — ranging from fiberglass molds and enlarged scales to the recurring figure of Bugs Bunny — İrem Günaydın examines the unstable boundaries between authorship, memory, representation, and political minimization. Oscillating between script, sculpture, archive, and administrative trace, the exhibition insists on making visible what institutional structures attempt to reduce, contain, or erase. With ABOUT THE ARTIST, minimization is no longer an option.

Final days to visit Minor Corrections, .wieland first solo exhibition in Paris, on view through May 30.

Conceived around the films Family Constellation With A Fox (2025) and Bird in Italian is Uc***lo (2021), the exhibition extends through a constellation of drawings, paintings, and ceramic sculptures in which slippages of language, failed repetitions, mistranslations, and fragmented recollections become operative structures. Across these works, Wieland approaches correction not as repair, but as a site where repression falters and where the unconscious emerges through interruption, distortion, and displacement.

Words remain half-written, crossed out, translated, misspelled; narratives drift between autobiography and fiction, theatrical staging and psychoanalytic projection. Within these discontinuities, mechanisms of internalised authority — familial, pedagogical, institutional — are rendered visible precisely at the moment of their collapse.

Moving between humour and unease, intimacy and systemic critique, Minor Corrections constructs a porous space in which childhood memory, psychoanalysis, literature, and art history remain suspended in continuous negotiation.

For this major exhibition dedicated to new forms of allegorical and figurative painting, Ababri presents a special newly commissioned work alongside 28 international artists.

Curated by Hendrik Folkerts, 𝘏𝘰𝘶𝘴𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘕𝘪𝘴𝘢𝘣𝘢: 𝘕𝘦𝘸 𝘚𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘗𝘢𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 explores how contemporary painters construct narratives in a world shaped by fractured realities, accelerated information flows, mythology, media culture, and digital imagery.

Revealing q***r identity as a utopian horizon and the underlying vulnerability in expressions of masculinity, Soufiane Ababri’s works critically and humorously engage with historical works of art and texts - essays and literature - and unfold within a historical and contemporary discussion at the intersection of q***r politics and postcolonialism.

Ababri’s visual storytelling is akin to an art-historical activism questioning the process of history writing while emphasizing minor histories and intimate recorded events as the point of departure of his works. Deftly weaving his own biography and heritage with the intellectual and artistic output of figures such as Jean Genet, Michel Foucault, Felix Gonzales Torres, Allen Ginsberg or N**im Hikmet, his works mobilize the anecdotal, diaristic and sometimes accidental as the location where an intimate knowledge based on affinities can engender a sense of community in motion across time and place
