Some watercolor paintings do more than capture a place—they preserve a feeling, a fleeting light, and the quiet poetry of everyday life.

Melike Öksüz is both a medical doctor and a passionate watercolor artist whose work reflects a remarkable balance of precision, intuition, and emotion.

For the past seven years, she has dedicated herself to mastering the expressive language of watercolor, creating luminous cityscapes, tranquil landscapes, and atmospheric architectural scenes.

Her paintings are defined by confident brushwork, flowing pigments, and a masterful use of light.

Every composition invites the viewer to slow down, immerse themselves in the moment, and discover beauty in places that often go unnoticed.

Melike participated in the 2025 Fabriano International Watercolor Festival, one of the world's most respected watercolor events, and has exhibited her work in numerous group exhibitions, continuing to share her artistic vision with audiences both nationally and internationally.

For Melike, watercolor is more than a medium—it is a dialogue between spontaneity and control, where every brushstroke captures a unique moment that can never be repeated.

Color, in Şevket Kütle’s artistic practice, is far more than a visual element—it becomes a language of emotion, memory, and transformation. Blending contemporary figurative painting with expressive abstraction, he creates portraits that reveal the unseen layers of human identity through bold color relationships, dynamic compositions, and a distinctive visual rhythm.

Born on February 5, 1994, in Finike, Antalya, Kütle graduated with honors from the Department of Fine Arts Education at Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University in 2016, completing his studies as the top-ranked student in his class. Throughout his artistic journey, he has received one Achievement Award, one Honorable Mention Award, three Exhibition Awards, and has participated in 17 group exhibitions.

Today, he continues his practice in his personal studio, developing a unique visual language that bridges emotion, symbolism, and contemporary portraiture.

His paintings invite viewers beyond the surface of the figure, transforming each portrait into a space where color, expression, and inner narrative coexist. The balance between realism and abstraction gives his works a powerful emotional presence while maintaining a refined contemporary aesthetic.

Neslihan Kalkavan draws what we feel.

Blending extraordinary graphite realism with carefully placed bursts of color, Kalkavan transforms portraiture into a powerful visual language. Every composition explores identity, vulnerability, censorship, trauma, hope, and transformation where every line is intentional and every color carries meaning.

Her technically masterful drawings invite viewers to pause, reflect, and discover the emotions hidden beneath the surface. Through symbolic elements such as blindfolds, koi fish, vivid paint, and expressive gestures, she creates works that remain with the viewer long after the first glance.
