Welcome to our ‘did you know this?’ series. Today we would like to introduce 2 valuable information about cultural heritage.🌟✌🏻

1) Hacıbektaş, one of the most visited areas of Nevşehir, deserves to be a favorite of tourists with its sculptures as well as its spiritual atmosphere. It has been nominated for the UNESCO World Heritage List.

2) Statuette of the twin goddesses Marble, from Catalhoyuk. First half of the 6th millenium BC. Height 17.2 cm, Anatolia. Now on display at the Museum of Anatolian Civilizations, Ankara, Turkey.

1) Nevşehir'in en çok ziyaret edilen bölgelerinden biri olan Hacıbektaş, manevi atmosferi kadar heykelleriyle de turistlerin gözdesi olmayı hak ediyor. UNESCO Dünya Mirası Listesi'ne aday gösterildi.

2) İkiz Tanrıça Mermer heykelciği, Çatalhöyük'ten. MÖ 6. binyılın ilk yarısı. Yükseklik 17.2 cm, Anadolu. Şimdi Ankara Anadolu Medeniyetleri Müzesi'nde sergileniyor.

Around 2,200 years ago, the artist Hephaistion left his signature on a mosaic floor in the form of a piece of parchment held down with small drops of wax. This perfect imitation of a sheet of parchment, with one corner curled up, was discovered in one of the palaces at Pergamon.

Yaklaşık 2200 yıl önce, sanatçı Hephaistion, küçük balmumu damlaları ile tutulan bir parşömen parçası şeklinde bir mozaik zemine imzasını bıraktı. Bir köşesi kıvrılmış bir parşömen yaprağının bu mükemmel taklidi, Bergama'daki saraylardan birinde keşfedildi.

Dancing Woman Statue, 2nd century AD. The 2m 25cm statue, whose body is white and whose clothes and hair are made of blackish marble, is one of rare examples where two colors of marble are used together. Exhibited in Emperors Hall in Antalya Museum, Turkey.

Dans Eden Kadın Heykeli, MS 2. yüzyıl. Vücudu beyaz, kıyafetleri ve saçları siyahımsı mermerden olan 2m 25cm heykel, iki renk mermerin bir arada kullanıldığı ender örneklerden biridir. Antalya Müzesi, Türkiye İmparatorlar Salonu'nda sergilendi.
