Gülsün Karamustafa’s video work The City and the Secret Panther Fashion is featured in the group exhibition EveryBody! The Stories Bodies Tell. Photography and Media Art from 1945 to the Present at Museum der Moderne Salzburg.
Bringing together works by VALIE EXPORT, Cindy Sherman, Nan Goldin, Samuel Fosso, Araki Nobuyoshi, and many others, the exhibition explores the body as a site of communication, social projection, conflict, and self-determination. Through photography and media art from 1945 to the present, EveryBody! examines how bodies are shaped by social norms, political contexts, and systems of visibility.
