Representing JIHED KHEMIRI
The release concert of “Dreaming Mercury” at was a truly immersive and magical experience.
Presented as part of Sens Out Loud, the event marked the official launch of composer and musician Jihed Khemiri’s album — conceived as a musical narrative exploring preservation and transformation.
Through nine tracks and three interludes, the project blends piano, electronic textures, organic rhythms, and acoustic instruments into evolving sonic landscapes.
On stage, Jihed performed piano, keyboards, percussion, and oud, joined by Youssef Soltana on drums and Youssef Ben Khalina on guitar. The performance was enriched by live drawings from Helmi Bardaa, adding a visual extension to the album’s universe.
