I’m superrr excited to be hosting a mixed-media art workshop for Manor Street Youth Project’s ‘Youth Takeover Q***r Carnival’ in Waterford City on May 30th! Thanks 🎪💖🎠
Called ‘Campy Collage Time,’ this workshop is open to anyone aged 14-18 and will run from 2:30pm-6pm. We warmly encourage LGBTQ+ youth and allies to take part. While materials are provided, please bring your sketchbook and any of your own paper scraps, clippings, or fabric to add to the mix.
At the end of the workshop, we’ll have a collaborative art piece ready to be proudly displayed at the gorgeous Garter Lane 🎢 Hopefully participants also leave having enjoyed some DIY catharsis, a refreshed appreciation for q***r Art history, and plenty of pride in themselves and in the Déise!
