Camping Grounds
Overview
Promthep Bar and restaurant is about 1km to Laem Cape Promthep. Nearest access point to Karon view point with beautiful sceneries.
It is generally very quiet at night. We encourage camping, and we are a great place for families to “learn to camp” or learn to use your camping equipment. For tourists, you are likely to experience peace/calmness, love for nature and dance to a fine sunny weather.
You may also have breakfast. Or ask for some thai authentic food. The restaurant is open from 9am to 11pm which is near to the camp site.
We do have a very limited number of tents available. If you rent a tent from us, the tent includes meduim size mattress, 2 pillows, a sheet.
Pricing:
Baht 200 a day per person
Note that camping fee is per night
24 hours
Our restaurant is big enough to even put most tents inside, in case it rains.

Reservations:
Walk - ins
Reservations are not an absolute requirement. Can walk in, and get a space if it is available.
Anyone, member or not, may book a spot, if they want to be sure that they will have a space for the night. This is particularly advisable on busy weekends, though it is extremely rare that we actually run out of spots.
To book a spot, is simply by calling Ranel at +66 805262476, Include the time of your arrival, and tell him you will be sending a confirmation text, that you do not want your spot given to someone else. He will give you a number to text. Your reservation will be confirmed, the spot reserved for you. If you do not arrive within one hour of your reserved time, your reservation will be forfeited, unless you are a preferred member.
Toilet and Shower Facilities:
The bathrooms are good by local standards. We even have hot water if you want it.
Food:
We do allow picnics, so we also have good wash-up facilities. On site, we have is a bar/ and limited restaurant facilities.
We can supply adequate food if necessary during the week. We can supply you with a menu from a nearby local restaurant that delivers.
We also have grills , so you can cook your own food. We can supply wood, if you need it.
Other things to do:
Catching tours, like elephant trekking, monkey show, zoo, and more, renting a sailboat, surf / body board or kayak.
Every Tuesday have live reggae by "Jacool" band starts at 9pm
