The Khmer Hindu Temple Complex of Prasat Muang Tum is located in the Prakhon Chai District of Buri Rum Province in northeastern Thailand (the Isaan Region). The name Muang Tum refers to the lowlands in which the temple is situated ('muang' เมือง means town or city; and 'tum' ต่ำ means low or positioned in a low place).

The artistic, architectural and craftsmanship aspects primarily exhibit the Khleang and Baphuon styles, with construction dating back to around the 10th to 12th centuries. In the serial cultural heritage site covering the zone of Buri Rum, Muang Tum is one of the distinctive accomplishments of engineering with structures belonging to the period of the Angkorian tradition.

Detail of stucco relief exhibited on the pediments of a main prang pagoda, located on the northern side of the temple compound of Wat Pra Pai Luang, Sukhothai Historical Park (Sukhothai, Thailand). The stucco relief exhibits images of the naga serpent as well as floral patterns. Bayon Khmer influences can be observed in the layout of the pagoda positionings, as well as the artistic styles used in their composition and design.

Wax castle under the applied art category by Wat Si Sumung temple community. The wax castle won fourth prize (third runner-up) at the Wax Castle Festival of Sakon Nakhon 2025.
Exhibited at the Sakon Nakhon Provincial Centre from 2 to 6 October 2025.
Sakon Nakhon is a province located in the upper part of Thailand’s northeastern region, also known as the Isaan Region. The province’s annual Wax Castle Festival has become a major cultural highlight in which the local temples compete with each other, not just in the presentation of artistic skill and craftsmanship, but also in the constant invention of new designs and patterns while faithfully preserving the traditional signature style of each respective temple’s brand.
I have been going to Sakon Nakhon’s Wax Castle Festival every year since 2022.

The Gian Anh Geng (Kian An Keng) Shrine, or the Shrine of the Goddess Kuan Yin, located in the Kudee Jeen Community (Bangkok, Thailand). Wooden relief masterpieces and paintings on wood are exhibited just below the ceiling outside the shrine's entrance. It is believed that the images depict scenes from the "Romance of the Three Kingdoms".

Wat Mahataad, Sukhothai Historical Park (Sukhothai, Thailand). The main stupa located at the heart of the temple compound exhibits a lotus bud architectural design, known as the ‘poom khao bin’.

Painted mural masterpiece with stucco relief foundation exhibited in the vihara chapel of Wat Bang Ka Pawm (Amphawa District, Samut Songkhram Province, Thailand). Mural images feature scenes from the daily lives of locals, reflecting cultural perspectives and folk knowledge of the residents of surrounding villages observed during the time that the vihara chapel was built, which would have been during the Third Reign.
