Phoenix's journey began tragically. After a horrific accident, he was found by a compassionate taxi driver who quickly rushed him to a nearby shelter. There, it didn’t take long for the veterinarians to take action, performing X-rays and conducting a series of tests to assess his condition. Phoenix was in bad shape: he had pus, couldn't breathe through his nose, and was unable to lift his head.
A CT scan was scheduled to determine the best course of treatment. In the meantime, the shelter staff gave him a name fitting his spirit—Phoenix. The specialists discovered that his jaw couldn’t close due to dental issues, but the real challenge was his facial nerve damage. Phoenix had no sensitivity in his face, no sense of smell, and no vision.
An appointment with an ophthalmologist confirmed the grim reality: restoring Phoenix's eyesight was unlikely. Follow-up tests in various labs revealed another complication—Phoenix had a severe allergy, leading to an immunosuppressive state. Despite these challenges, his caretaker remained hopeful and dedicated to his recovery.
