**HEADS UP**
We're throwing a BYP at the legendary G-SON STUDIOS in Atwater on Aug 22. This is the Beastie Boys (and BIZ MARKIE!) old spot where they recorded Check Your Head and Ill Communication. You might recognize those stairs from the Sabotage video. You'll walk up em to get inside.

We're throwing an all-ages show in the infamous basketball court studio.

this one will be VERY hands-on, so be prepared to get dirty. You’ll cut, paste, screen, paint, print, chop and copy on paper, tshirts, or whatever else we have.

a suggested donation of $25 covers materials, but nobody will be turned away for lack of funds! Or hit us up if you want to sponsor a few spots through the BYP Ticket Fund

Backyard Party returned to on July 10, 2026, to throw the first all-ages show in a newly rebuilt house - 549 days after the tore through the community. The vibe, crowd, bands, and sunset were all amazing, with bringing life, light, and music back in a big way.

Thanks to Finn, .playita , , , .barzell, , , and the Figueroa family for letting us into their home.
