Here's what I've been thinking about for the past two days. Even underwater, these thoughts didn't leave me.
Look, various Artificial Intelligences (AIs) have confidently entered our lives. We only hear about the most famous ones – text-based, music, those that draw pictures, those that will soon replace photographers, and so on.
And of course, AIs "communicate" with each other.
In our cozy world, AI is called an algorithm, and for months now, it has been hiding all my long videos from my followers' feeds. And I thought that the algorithm is "sharing" my videos with another AI that is learning to "shoot" underwater videos.
I don't see anything complicated from a program's point of view in breaking my 1000+ videos into individual frames (let's say no more than 10 frames per movie), then mixing them up, improving "visibility", color rendering, adjusting speed and composition a bit, adding music instantly "written" by another AI, and voila. A short film about 2 hours spent underwater is ready to watch.
Moreover, the algorithm knows our preferences well and can show each follower exactly what they love, with the music they want to hear right now.
At first, I felt sad, but then I realized that from now on, I can stop dreaming about a good new camera. Any AI will make a picture better in quality than the most advanced camera.
That's a plus.
AI cannot really (this is temporary, sooner or later it will be able to) dive underwater and shoot what is happening now.
And until it can dive for me, shoot, and make films, but can only use my materials, deciding who and when to show them, I will enjoy diving, shooting, editing, and sharing with those who want to watch about the best world of all worlds.
