Meet the Cast:
Wendy Herbert - This is the second time Wendy has brought the story of Marg Szkaluba to an audience, having first performed the role in Hong Kong more than 10 years ago.
With a background in the media, including 16 years in Radio in HK and Australia, as well as many years performing and Directing for stage, this Kiwi now finds herself in a rather more corporate role working as the Communication Trainer for Chiva-Som International Health Resort.
After more than 30 years in Asia, you would think Wendy would know better than to hang out in country bars crooning. Alas. Wendy would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank Teri, Bill, Molly, Hamish, Robyn and Karen for getting the show to this point. Simply astonishing.
Bill Paige - Bill’s musical journey began in 1975, at the keys of a typewriter. His byline has appeared over hundreds of reviews and profiles of music legends including Roy Orbison, Fleetwood Mac, and Queen, many of which are collected in the memoir, Everything I Know I Learned From Rock Stars (Eckhartz Press).
In 1990, Bill joined Chicago’s famed Old Town School of Folk Music, and over two decades participated in classes and tribute concerts celebrating the music of Bob Dylan, John Lennon, Bob Marley, the Rolling Stones, and many more. Past endeavors also include performing “living room shows” with Wilco’s Jeff Tweedy; a weekend at Jorma Kaukonen’s Fur Peace Ranch; and portraying Mordcha, the Innkeeper, in Fiddler on the Roof.
Bill continues to perform solo acoustic shows and with various bands since moving to Hua Hin in 2018. New, original music may be found at Josephmooon.com.
