Founded in 2017 by Chef Prin Polsuk and Thanyaporn “Mint” Jarukittikun, Samrub Samrub Thai began as a platform for exploring and sharing Thai culinary knowledge. Through extensive research and journeys across Thailand, their practice brings overlooked recipes, regional ingredients and traditional cooking techniques to life, preserving the stories and wisdom of local communities.
At Wonderfruit, this philosophy extends into The Grounded Kitchen, a collaboration research between Wonderfruit and Pakayatra by Samrub Samrub Thai. Rooted in the landscapes and food cultures of Chonburi and Rayong, the concept brings together local ingredients, traditional knowledge and contemporary culinary expression. Through a deeper exploration of where our food comes from, The Grounded Kitchen celebrates the connections between people, nature and the cultural traditions that continue to shape the way we eat.
