Don‘t miss this special night if you’re a fan of Japanese music! On 28 June, our favorite local City Pop band, Cherie Pops, will perform their entire newly released album, The Unknown Greatest Hits Vol. 1, along with beloved City Pop classics.
Come and experience their amazing original songs that capture the authentic spirit and nostalgic charm of City Pop.
Joining the celebration are two special guests:
DJ Tag began his DJ career in Tokyo in the late 1980s. Known for his incredibly wide-ranging selections, his sets span from hard-edged J-rock and hip-hop to anime songs and kayōkyoku.
Hikaru Tanimoto is a solo guitarist from Hokkaido, renowned for his unique performance techniques. He has performed as a backing guitarist for acclaimed artists in Japan and abroad, including the legendary singer-songwriter Shinji Tanimura and Pam Anshisa. He has also composed music for SEGA‘s Sonic the Hedgehog,as well as projects for Nissan and Hino Motors.
