Their sound is sincere and simple, soft and unpretentious. Nothing extravagant, yet every note felt deeply genuine. Listening to their music brought a quiet warmth — a feeling of love and kindness that gently softened the heart.

It is the kind of music that makes you feel that everything is already okay… and somehow, everything will become even better. There is something almost magical in that simplicity.

At 𝗠𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗥𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝗙𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗹 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, the night opened into something ancient, mysterious, and deeply alive as 𝗠𝗨𝗚𝗘𝗡 𝗦𝗸𝘂𝗹𝗹 ♾️ 𝗧𝗿𝗶𝗯𝗲 entered the space.

Formed at the sacred foothills of 𝗠𝘁. 𝗙𝘂𝗷𝗶, this Japanese collective of sound artists carries a presence that feels both ceremonial and cosmic. Their performance was not simply music — it was a ritual of resonance.

The tribe wove 𝗰𝗿𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝗸𝘂𝗹𝗹 𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘀 into layers of live voice, vocal percussion, intuitive instrumental expression, and channeling. Each tone felt intentional, vibrating through the body like a subtle current. The air itself seemed to hum. The rhythm was primal yet refined — at times grounding like a heartbeat, at times expansive like the sky.

Their soulful sound moved beyond language. It guided the audience into a shared field of awareness — a space where breath slowed, senses heightened, and inner landscapes quietly opened. It was not about watching; it was about entering.

As frequencies rose and fell, the ceremony unfolded like a living mandala — awakening, healing, remembering. The skull frequencies resonated through the earth beneath us and the stars above, bridging the visible and the unseen.

In that sacred circle at Mountain Rise, we were reminded that sound is more than vibration — it is medicine, it is memory, it is connection.

Last weekend at 𝗠𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗥𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝗙𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗹 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, we gathered around 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐞 𝐂𝐢𝐫𝐜𝐥𝐞, the first edition of Mountain Rise’s sound and fire art ritual, not just around fire but around meaning.🔥🎶🌀

Fire has always been a symbol of human civilization. It warms and it destroys. It illuminates the dark and speaks of impermanence. In the circle, through music, rhythm and movement, we experienced its deeper language — 𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗽𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲.

The music moved like breath through flame. The rhythms pulsed like a collective heartbeat. As the sound rose into the night, the fire dance became more than performance — it was a ritual. A reminder that 𝘄𝗲 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗿𝘆 𝗮𝗻 𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝗲: the courage to create, the strength to release, the willingness to transform.

𝙁𝙞𝙧𝙚 𝙩𝙚𝙖𝙘𝙝𝙚𝙨 𝙪𝙨 𝙥𝙖𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣 — but also balance. Uncontrolled, it consumes; with awareness, it sustains.
𝙄𝙩 𝙩𝙚𝙖𝙘𝙝𝙚𝙨 𝙥𝙪𝙧𝙞𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 — to burn away and let go of what no longer serves.
𝙄𝙩 𝙩𝙚𝙖𝙘𝙝𝙚𝙨 𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙨𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙢𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 — that sometimes destruction is the doorway to becoming. From the ashes, something truer begins to rise.
𝘼𝙣𝙙 𝙞𝙩 𝙩𝙚𝙖𝙘𝙝𝙚𝙨 𝙞𝙢𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙢𝙖𝙣𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚 — every flame, however bright, dances only for a moment.

With drums, guitar, kalimba, Kouxian, Asian and Native American flutes, and the voice, 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 creates a living soundscape that feels both ancient and immediate. His music doesn’t just play — it moves, breathes, and carries you inward. Rooted in old Asian and Native American shamanic traditions, his performance becomes a journey across time, memory, and spirit.

At the heart of his sound is the 𝗬𝗶 𝗺𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗽 (𝗸𝗼𝘂𝘅𝗶𝗮𝗻) — a small yet powerful instrument recognized by UNESCO as part of China’s national intangible cultural heritage. In Yi culture, it is worn close to the body, like a necklace, ready to speak when words fall short. Its delicate vibration is said to carry the earliest form of poetry — not written, but felt. Not spoken, but heard by the heart.

At Mountain Rise, in the sacred waterfall space, June will share these timeless frequencies — inviting us into a place where music becomes conversation and soul remembrance.
