We are so honoured to have recieved a commended AR Public Award this year for our space.

" The judges praised the successful experiment of providing a permeable boundary ‘between public and private, between interior and exterior, and between a street and a plaza’ where the design ‘ creates a strong connection between movement, people, the city, and architecture, making the area feel active and welcoming’ "

We will continue to pursue our mission to being able provide the community with a beautiful space where we can share, converse, and create together.

We want to thank Sher Maker for working hard and together with us to be able to share our vision and create such a space for the city. With many more great projects to come!

Suksamran Band is an improvisation-driven collective born from the creative energy of the 4seas community in Chiang Mai. Blending rap, R&B, soul, harmony vocals, and live instrumentation, the band brings together artists from different cultures and backgrounds to create music in the moment. Featuring Burmese rapper Youth, soulful singer Pendo, AI developer and multi-instrumentalist Ethan, and OG world musician Shaka, the band creates a warm, free-flowing vibe where everyone sings, harmonizes, and switches instruments naturally. Rooted in community, creativity, and decentralized culture, Suksamran Band turns every jam into a shared musical journey.

หมอนิล — มารุต เหล็กเพชร กรรมการมูลนิธิกังหันลมจากเกาะยาวใหญ่ ที่สนใจการมีส่วนร่วมของชุมชนในการสร้างระบบสุขภาพ อดีตผู้ก่อตั้ง หนัง(สือ) ๒๕๒๑ ในเมืองเก่าภูเก็ต และ The remedy phuket ปัจจุบันเขาสนใจใช้ศาสตร์และศิลปะของกลิ่นรสมาเล่าเรื่องราวต่างๆ

ตั้ม — นันทวุฒิ สงค์รักษ์ Barista และนักปรุงเครื่องดื่มผู้ดูแลทุกสูตรของ The Remedy Phuket ซึ่งอาจนิยามว่าเป็น specialty coffee, micro-roastery, creative drinks และ local fermentation & spirits ที่เกิดจากการทดลองนับไม่ถ้วน

ทั้งสองคือผู้สร้าง The Remedy Phuket ขึ้นมาในบ้านปูนเปลือยในย่านฉลอง จังหวัดภูเก็ต ที่ที่เครื่องดื่มทุกแก้วถูกปรุงเหมือน "ตำรับยา" เติมพลังกายและใจ รวมถึงสร้างสรรค์สิ่งที่พวกเขาเรียกว่า Gastromony liquids

Dr. Nin — Marut Lekphet, a board member of the Windmill Foundation from Koh Yao Yai, with a keen interest in community participation in building healthcare systems. He is the former founder of Nang(sue) 2521 in Phuket Old Town and The Remedy Phuket. He currently explores the science and art of scent and flavor as a medium for storytelling.

Tum — Nantawut Songrak, a barista and drink crafter who oversees every recipe at The Remedy Phuket — a place that might best be described as a specialty coffee, micro-roastery, creative drinks, and local fermentation & spirits lab, born from countless experiments.

Together, they are the creators of The Remedy Phuket, set in a bare concrete house in the Chalong area of Phuket, where every drink is crafted like a "healing prescription" — restoring body and mind, and giving form to what they call Gastromony Liquids.

That night, they will come to craft "a life in the dimension of taste" — together with the North Gate Spirit team, a drink experience made for the city of Chiang Mai.

Jeap Supreeda

Thai Flamenco dancer, performer, choreographer, and instructor with 26 years of experience.
Known for her expressive footwork, emotional storytelling, and a signature blend of Thai grace and Flamenco intensity. 🌹✨

Rafael Lopez

Rafael is a bassist and sound engineer from Caracas, Venezuela. His focus is on Jazz and Latin music combining improvisation with tradition. After living and playing in different countries he has his base now in Chiang Mai, Thailand.

CHUJI Kazuyoshi Nakatsukasa

Bassist from Mt,Fuji, Japan. His improvisational live performances using contrabass and loopers possess overwhelming originality while naturally resonating across generations and musical preferences.

วันนี้เราจะพามาแนะนำให้รู้จัก .cnx พาร์ทเนอร์คนสำคัญในโปรเจ็กต์ครั้งนี้ ร้านโลคอลในเชียงใหม่ที่เล่าเรื่องเอกลักษณ์ของตัวเองผ่าน ”กรานิต้า“ และเป็นที่รู้จักผ่านเมนูขึ้นชื่ออย่างชาไทย เรียบง่ายแต่มีเสน่ห์ชัดเจน

ครั้งนี้ Thursdae คือคนที่อยู่เบื้องหลังการพัฒนา ‘กรานิต้าอามาซาเกะ’ จากวัตถุดิบของ North Gate Spirit นำมาตีความใหม่ให้กลายเป็นอีกหนึ่งรสชาติที่ทั้งละมุนและสดชื่นในเวลาเดียวกัน

ไม่ได้เป็นแค่การคอลแลปแต่เป็นการที่ทั้งสองร้านในฐานะ “เพื่อนบ้าน” ได้หยิบยกเอาตัวตนของกันและกันมาผสมผสานให้เกิดเป็นความลงตัวที่พอดี จนเกิดเป็นเมนูใหม่ที่สะท้อนให้เห็นความตั้งใจตั้งแต่การเลือกวัตถุดิบ จนส่งต่อไปถึงมือลูกค้า

Through the taste of the Lemon Ice Tea Granita, we get to tell you the story of “Thursdae”, the local shop that we have partnered with that speciailizes in this dessert with it’s iconic local flavour.

“Thursdae” is the creative behind our “Granita Amazake” project by using our very own North Gate Spirit’s Amazake to make Granita using their technique, giving us more ways to enjoy rice that is tasty and refreshing.

This creation between North Gate Spirit and Thursdae is not just a normal collaboration but an intentional coming together of two “neighbors” to create something special for you that beautifully reflects the speciality of each shop combined, from the carefully curated ingrediants, to the finishing dessert at the end. Everything was intentional

With all this being said, if you really want to know how delicious Thursdae’s Granitas are, you have to come and try the Lemon Ice Tea Granita for yourself at the North Gate Spirit this Summer!!☀️

การคอลแลปเมนูระหว่าง North gate spirit x .cnx ครั้งนี้ มีชาเลนจ์ร่วมคือการตีความวัตถุดิบโลคอลและ Know how ของพวกเราให้เกิดเป็นรสชาติและเรื่องราวใหม่ๆ จนเกิดเป็นเมนู Granita Amazake และ Granita Sweet Purple Potato

หนึ่งในโปรเจ็คของ North Gate คือการสนับสนุนวัตถุดิบโลคอลในเขตภาคเหนือ ซึ่งเราได้เปลี่ยนข้าวหักที่ถูกตีตกมูลค่า เป็นต้นขั้ววัตถุดิบที่มีคุณค่าของเรา นำมาพัฒนาและแตกไลน์เป็นเครื่องดื่มมากมาย หนึ่งในนั้นคือ Amazake สาเกหวานไร้แอลกอฮอล์ ที่เกิดจากการนำข้าวไปหมักโดยใช้วิธีแบบญี่ปุ่น

☀️Find a new way of trying broken rice through Granita shaved ice

Through our collaboration of North Gate Spirit and .cnx , we got to learn and challenge ourselves by creating a unique flavour of granita that uses local ingredients, together we created two new special flavours, the Granita Amazake and Granita Sweet Purple Potato

Amazake has been a long on going project for us at North Gate, to be able to support our local rice farmers in northern Thailand. By choosing to purchase broken rice which is usually seen as a low value product and transformed it into a priceless non-alcoholic Amazake drink, through the Japanese fermentation process.

Now we have turned our Amazake drink into a delicious Granita dessert. Thanks to the help another local Chaing Mai shop specialized in Granitas and many other desserts, Thursdae! With this collaboration with them we are able to bring about these two special menus for you to try and taste the spirit of the north, in new inovative way that can cool you off in this summer heat.

Now is the perfect time to stop by the North Gate Spirit to taste the new refreshing Granitas!
