The final performance : THE LADIES : SPIRIT OF THE LADIES (From Spirit To Soul).-

Before the performance , we have special open act & live music : this is good bye party for Rong Sa Dang - the beautiful space for artists.

A young woman sets out on a journey to pursue her ultimate dream: mastering the art of the sword. Driven by absolute faith in the blade, her quest is not just about combat, but about discovering her true identity and inner spirit.As she travels and trains, she constantly searches for answers to what truly defines her. However, a creeping shadow begins to haunt her life. Is this dark presence a literal sword spirit, or is it merely a manifestation of her own deep-seated fears?

Our Ladies story XFon Jerng:
Fon Jerng was only recently opened to female practitioners, and we are happy to create and develop our own performance based on our personal life stories.
Through this show, we share a new interpretation of Fon Jerng while honoring its traditions. After the performance, we invite everyone to join us in dancing together with joy, playfulness, and connection.

The Ladies project started here at Rong Sa Dang, and we are so proud to have been part of its journey.
A very special thank you to our beloved artists Vivi, Aez, and Raya. ❤️ We are so proud of everything you have created and how far you have come.
Even though Rong Sa Dang is closing, this is not the end of The Ladies Show. We will find new spaces and new ways to continue creating and performing together.

Thank you for bringing your energy, creativity, courage, and beautiful chaos into Rong Sa Dang. ❤️

Rong Sa Dang would like to give our deepest thanks to all the wonderful **Chiang Mai dance communities** who have shared this space with us — Contact Improvisation Chiang Mai, Chiang Mai Swing Dance Community, Chiang Mai Ecstatic Dance, The Ladies Show artists, and all the incredible musicians and performers who have filled Rong Sa Dang with life.

We are deeply sad to let go of this unique place. Over the years, many local and international artists, dancers, musicians, and performers have shared their work here, creating so many beautiful and unforgettable moments.

But **this is not the end.**

We will continue looking for collaborations with different art spaces around Chiang Mai, creating new opportunities for artists and continuing to support the city's independent creative scene.

Thank you to everyone who came, performed, danced, listened, helped, and supported Rong Sa Dang. ❤️

The space may close, but the community continues.

Hello, this is Bora, the program curator at Rong Sa Dang.
Rong Sa Dang would like to give our deepest thanks to all the wonderful **Chiang Mai dance communities** who have shared this space with us — Contact Improvisation Chiang Mai, Chiang Mai Swing Dance Community, Chiang Mai Ecstatic Dance, The Ladies Show artists, and all the incredible musicians and performers who have filled Rong Sa Dang with life.

Unfortunately, we have not been able to resolve the soundproofing problems of this old building, and we have made the difficult decision to stop operating Rong Sa Dang as a permanent multidisciplinary art space. We are deeply sad to let go of this unique place. Many local and international artists, dancers, musicians, and performers have shared their work here, creating so many beautiful and unforgettable moments. But this is not the end.We will continue looking for collaborations with different art spaces around Chiang Mai, creating new opportunities for artists and continuing to support the city's independent creative scene. Please come and say goodbye to Rong Sa Dang

MOVEMENT, SENSES, AND SENSELESSNESS- DDANG Movement workshop _
A 1-hour movement workshop exploring our natural senses and deepening our ability to engage with ourselves and the world.
Through silence, movement, and selective disengagement and re-engagement with the senses, we will rediscover different ways of sensing, listening, moving, and being.

‘DDANG’ Movement, founded by Yeji Yeon, is a dramaturgical methodology through movement that seeks to recover our connection with the earth and with ourselves.
Movement not from ambition, but from pleasure.
Movement not of performance, but of embodiment.
Movement not of force, but from ease and repose.

Yeji Yeon trained in theatre acting and developed a dramaturgical method for unlocking and deepening the psychophysical relationship between the self, the soul, and the body.
‘DDANG’ means earth or ground in Korean. The methodology invites us to recollect and reclaim a simple truth: we come from the earth, and we return to earth.

1-hour workshop curriculum:
• Warm-up, stretching & yoga
• Moving through space and between others without speech, without hearing, without sight
• Re-introducing the senses through movement
• Movement improvisation

Rooted in Korea and wandering across the globe, **DALQI aka Yeji Yeon** is an interdisciplinary sound artist who weaves together sound, film, and the expressive language of movement. Living a nomadic life across continents, she transforms her journeys and encounters into a rich tapestry of artistic inspiration, creating a truly borderless creative identity.

DALQI’s work moves beyond the boundaries of conventional sound. Blending cinematic storytelling with the visceral language of dance and movement, she creates immersive multimedia environments that invite audiences into otherworldly spaces.
At the heart of her sonic universe is a powerful dialogue between the human voice and electronic instruments. She layers, transforms, and mutates vocal textures, shaping them into expansive sonic landscapes and epic narratives.

Her live performances unfold as a **“Cinematic Eastern Opera”**—a spellbinding and monumental experience where ancient Eastern mysticism meets contemporary avant-garde sound. Through voice, electronics, image, and movement, DALGI creates a space where the familiar becomes unfamiliar, and the audience is transported into an ethereal world beyond time and place.
