That title goes to Mount CHIMBORAZO in the Andes mountain range in the country of Ecuador 🇪🇨
Measuring from sea level, Mount Everest measures about 8,848 meters above sea level, while Mount Chimborazo measures 6,268 meters.
BUT, because Mount Chimborazo is practically on the equator, but above all because the Earth has a geological deformation in that area of South America, raising Mount Chimborazo about 1,811 meters above Mount Everest ⬆️🗻⬆️
Thus making Mount Chimborazo the highest point on Earth. THIS IS THE place furthest from the earth's core and at the same time closest to the sun on our planet is in Ecuador and not in Tibet 🇪🇨🗻
