The Bazaar Ratchadaphisek hosts a 800-room hotel (The Bazaar Hotel Bangkok) and 5-star Hostel rooms (Podstel Hostel Bangkok), a variety of Restaurants and Shops, multiple Gyms, Event spaces, 432-seater Theater, 24 hour Supermarket, and Offices. Originally, the first Suan-Lum Night Bazaar project, which was the largest night bazaar of Bangkok, was situated on more than 120 acres of land on the Rama
4 and Wireless road area. The open air bazaar had over 3,700 shops divided into various zones:
Fashion: Jewelry and clothing zone
Furniture and home decoration zone
Souvenirs and gift shop zone
Pet shop zone
Miscellaneous zone
Restaurants
Beer garden
Joe Louis Theater
Bangkok Exhibition Hall
The original land lease contract with the Crown Property Bureau came to an end after 10 years, therefore the land had to be returned, and the bazaar shut down. The Bangkok Night Bazaar Company then sees the potential of a strip of land on Ratchadapisek Road (Chatuchak district, Bangkok) to become the new location for Suan-Lum Night Bazaar. The land, which belongs to the State Railway of Thailand, has now been leased to Bangkok Night Bazaar Co., Ltd to break ground with the Suan-Lum Night Bazaar Ratchadapisek project.
