🌟 Keldeo Event Wrap-Up & Shiny Grind Begins! 🦄

We did it! We finally completed the Tales of Transformation Special Research and unlocked Keldeo's powerful Resolute Form (10,000 Stardust + 50 Candy—totally worth it!). If you're on the last page and the button is missing, trust me: force-quit and restart your app! It works!

Now, the main event: Shiny Keldeo via the Masterwork Research: Pony Tales! 💰 We grabbed the $7.99 ticket and immediately started grinding through the regional catches (Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, etc.).

But here’s the kicker: Page 1 requires catching Pokémon on 10 different days. Masterwork Time Locks are back! 😭

🧐 ARE DYNAMAX POKÉMON A WASTE OF TIME AND CANDY NOW?

I spent the weekend testing the recent Dynamax Eevee raid to settle a big debate: Do we still need to bother investing heavily in every Max Pokémon, or has Zacian, Zamazenta, and Eternatus broken the whole mechanic?

The short answer: I ran non-optimal counters against the Max Eevee boss, and they crushed it. The resources and dedication you used to need for D-Max are just... gone.

Key Takeaways from the Test:
Zamazenta actually performed the best out of Zacian, Zamazenta, and Eternatus. The results were genuinely surprising.

The fact that Max Battles are now remotable changes the equation entirely. If you can get 100 people in a lobby, you don't need optimal counters; you just need the big Legendary sticks we already have.

Resource Drain: Unless it's a Hundo or a Gigantamax, I'm not sinking hundreds of XL Candy and Stardust into a new D-Max Pokémon. It's just too resource intensive for a minimal gain.

It genuinely feels like the early release of Eternatus was premature and has made the challenge of Max Battles feel lackluster. If the goal is to get stronger Pokémon to beat tougher raids, and we already have the strongest Pokémon that don't need the Max moves... why are we doing this?

We Leveled up! But why did it take us so long??

Well, to be honest, we didn’t want to do raids just to do raids.

With people hitting level 80 so quickly, there was so real reason to rush to level 80. We took our time doing 30 raids for the raids we wanted to do rather than doing 30 raids in a day if whatever.
