I’ve opened your PS5 Slim Digital and connected it to my PC via UART to check the error log.
After checking the log, I found that the console has been having an issue with the internal SSD since April 2nd. You can see the error in the log photo I sent you.
Your PS5 is the first USA model, which uses four individual Western Digital TLC NAND 256GB flash memory chips. Together, these four chips provide the console with its 1TB of raw storage.
Unfortunately, I don’t have the same NAND chips in stock, so I would need to order them from a board. Also, as you probably know, SSD/NAND parts are quite expensive right now. The total repair cost would be around 7,000 baht.
Honestly, I don't think it’s really worth spending that much to repair this console. But of course, the final decision is up to you. Let me know what you’d like to do.
