ขับเคลื่อนโดยผู้คนในท้องถิ่น และได้รับการสนับสนุนเป็นอย่างดีจากภาคีเครือข่ายนานาชาติ 🌎🍃

เมื่อวันพฤหัสบดีที่ผ่านมา (22 มกราคม 2569) เราได้ต้อนรับผู้ว่าราชการกรุงเทพมหานคร นายชัชชาติ สิทธิพันธุ์ พร้อมด้วยผู้นำจากประชาคมนานาชาติในกรุงเทพฯ รวมถึงเอกอัครราชทูตจากกว่า 10 ประเทศ และผู้แทนระดับสูงจากองค์กรระหว่างประเทศ ธนาคารแห่งประเทศไทย - Bank of Thailand หอการค้าไทยและสภาหอการค้าแห่งประเทศไทย ในงานรับประทานอาหารค่ำเพื่อหารือและสนับสนุนงาน

นอกจากการเข้าร่วมงานแล้ว บรรดาผู้นำเหล่านี้ล้วนมีบทบาทสำคัญในการสร้างเสริมให้ BKKCAW เป็นพื้นที่ที่เปิดกว้างและครอบคลุมสำหรับผู้คนทุกกลุ่ม ผ่านการเชื่อมโยงมุมมองระดับสากล และสร้างความร่วมมือระหว่างภาคส่วน ทั้งยังช่วยต่อยอดการดำเนินงานด้านสภาพภูมิอากาศในระดับท้องถิ่นให้สามารถขยายผลต่อไปได้อย่างยั่งยืน

ในโอกาสนี้ ผู้จัดงาน BKKCAW นายลีโอ ฮอร์น-พัธโนทัย ได้กล่าวขอบคุณพันธมิตรจากทุกภาคส่วน และเชิญชวนแขกผู้มีเกียรติทุกท่านร่วมเสนอแนวทางและวิสัยทัศน์สำหรับการจัดงาน

เดพาลี แคนนา รองประธานอาวุโสและผู้อำนวยการภูมิภาคเอเชีย มูลนิธิร็อคกี้เฟลเลอร์ ได้สะท้อนถึงความสำคัญของการสร้างพื้นที่สำหรับผู้นำท้องถิ่น ความร่วมมือข้ามภาคส่วน และการสนทนาที่นำไปสู่การลงมือทำเพื่อให้เกิดผลลัพธ์อย่างเป็นรูปธรรม

Last Thusday (22 Jan 26), we welcomed Bangkok Governor Chadchart Sittipunt and leaders of the international community, including Ambassadors from over 10 countries, senior representatives of global organisations, as well as senior leadership from the Bank of Thailand and the Thai Chamber of Commerce, for a dinner discussion in support of .

Beyond their presence, these leaders play a critical role in shaping BKKCAW as an inclusive platform by bringing global perspectives, unlocking cross-sector partnerships, and helping translate local climate action into solutions that can be scaled and sustained.

During the discussion, BKKCAW Convenor Leo Horn-Phathanothai expressed his gratitude to all partners and invited dinner guests to share their hopes and visions for .

Governor Chadchart reaffirmed the BMA’s commitment to supporting BKKCAW, noting that Bangkok’s new parks and emerging public spaces open up exciting possibilities for future events and community-led activities.

Ms. Deepali Khanna, Senior Vice President and Head of the Asia Regional Office at The Rockefeller Foundation, shared reflections on the importance of intentionally creating space for local leadership, cross-sector collaboration, and practical conversations on what comes next.

อีเวนต์ที่ไม่มีขยะเหลือไปยังหลุมฝังกลบ ♻️🍃

เวทีหลัก หรือ Main Stage เป็นหนึ่งในกิจกรรมไฮไลต์ของงาน 2025 ซึ่งจัดขึ้นโดย MMU.Make More Unlimited ภายใต้แนวคิด “CHANGE and CHILL” ที่ชวนทุกคนมาเปลี่ยนโลกในบรรยากาศชิลๆ ที่สวนเบญจกิติ ผ่านกิจกรรมต่างๆ ไม่ว่าจะเป็นเวทีเสวนา การแสดงดนตรีพื้นเมือง และคอนเสิร์ตรักษ์โลก นอกจากนี้ ยังมีโซนเวิร์คช็อป นิทรรศการศิลปะ และบูธร้านอาหารจากโครงการ #ร้านนี้ไม่เทรวม ของกรุงเทพมหานคร อีกด้วย

กิจกรรม Main Stage ได้รับการสนับสนุนเป็นอย่างดีจากสำนักงานเขตคลองเตย ที่เข้ามาช่วยบริหารจัดการการแยกขยะ ทำให้ถึงแม้จะมีผู้เข้าร่วมกิจกรรมกว่า 12,000 คน ตลอดระยะเวลา 7 วันของการจัดงาน (28 ก.ย.-4 ต.ค. 68) แต่ขยะทุกประเภทถูกนำไปบริหารจัดการอย่างเป็นระบบ และไม่มีขยะเหลือไปยังหลุมฝังกลบ

🌎 ขยะเศษอาหาร นำไปจัดการภายในสวนสมเด็จย่า พระราม 3 โดยผลไม้เปลือกบางนำไปให้เลี้ยงสัตว์ และส่วนที่เหลือนำไปทำปุ๋ยหมักชีวภาพ
🌎 ขยะทั่วไป นำไปจัดการด้วยวิธีการเผาทำเป็นเชื้อเพลิง
🌎 ขยะรีไซเคิล นำไปจัดการเข้าสู่กระบวนการรีไซเคิลอย่างถูกต้อง โดยรวมมือกับภาคีเครือข่ายของกทม.

นอกจากนี้ กองฟางซึ่งใช้เป็นที่นั่งบริเวณหน้าเวที Main Stage ได้ถูกนำไปใช้รองพื้นเล้าไก่ ช่วยดูดซับความชื้นและลดกลิ่นได้ดี รวมทั้งนำไปปูภายในรังไข่ ช่วยให้ไก่วางไข่ได้อย่างปลอดภัยอีกด้วย 🐣

กิจกรรม Main Stage เป็นแบบอย่างของการจัดอีเวนต์อย่างมีความรับผิดชอบต่อสิ่งแวดล้อม และแสดงให้เราเห็นว่าการลงมือเพื่อสร้างความเปลี่ยนแปลงด้านสภาพภูมิอากาศนั้นไม่ใช่เรื่องซับซ้อน แต่สามารถทำได้จริงผ่านความตั้งใจ และความร่วมมือจากทุกภาคส่วน

BKKCAW Main Stage: A Zero-Waste-to-Landfill Event ♻️🍃

The Bangkok Climate Action Week Main Stage is one of the highlights of , organised by MMU under the theme “CHANGE and CHILL.” It invited everyone to help change the world in a relaxed, chill atmosphere at Benjakitti Park through a wide range of activities from panel discussions to traditional music performances, and climate concerts. The event also featured workshop zones, art exhibitions, and food stalls from the #ร้านนี้ไม่เทรวม (No Mixed Waste) initiative by the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA).

The Khlong Toei District Office kindly supported our Main Stage by helping manage waste segregation throughout the event. As a result, despite welcoming over 12,000 participants across 7 days (28 Sept – 4 Oct 2025), all waste was systematically managed, with zero waste sent to landfill.

🌎 Food waste was managed within Somdet Ya Park (Rama 3): thin fruit peels were used as animal feed, while the rest was composted into bio-fertiliser.
🌎 General waste was processed through waste-to-energy incineration.
🌎 Recyclables were properly sorted and recycled in collaboration with BMA partner networks.

In addition, the straw bales used as seating in front of the Main Stage were later reused as bedding for chicken coops, helping absorb moisture, reduce odour, and line nesting areas to ensure safe egg-laying. 🐣

BKKCAW Main Stage is a great example of environmentally responsible event management, showing that climate action doesn’t have to be complicated. Real change is possible through intention and collaboration across all sectors.

เด็กๆ จะมีส่วนร่วมในการพูดคุยเรื่องสภาพภูมิอากาศได้อย่างไร 🌱

เด็กๆ คือกลุ่มผู้ที่ได้รับผลกระทบจากวิกฤตการเปลี่ยนแปลงสภาพภูมิอากาศมากที่สุด เพราะนอกจากพวกเขาจะเป็นหนึ่งในกลุ่มเปราะบางต่อผลกระทบทางสิ่งแวดล้อมแล้ว เด็กๆ คือคนรุ่นต่อไปที่ต้องอยู่กับผลลัพธ์จากการตัดสินใจและการลงมือทำของพวกเราในวันนี้ ดังนั้น การส่งเสริมการเรียนรู้ด้านสภาพภูมิอากาศเพียงอย่างเดียวจึงไม่เพียงพอ เราจำเป็นต้องเชิญชวนให้เด็กๆ เข้ามามีส่วนร่วมในการพูดคุย ร่วมกันสร้างสรรค์แนวทางแก้ไข และเสริมสร้างพื้นที่ปลอดภัยให้พวกเข้ามีโอกาสได้ลุกขึ้นมาเป็นผู้นำการเปลี่ยนแปลงด้วย

หากคุณเป็นคุณพ่อ คุณแม่ คุณครู หรือคุณน้า คุณอา ที่อยากเริ่มต้นชวนลูกๆ หลานๆ พูดคุยและเรียนรู้เรื่องการเปลี่ยนแปลงสภาพภูมิอากาศ เราขอแนะนำวิธีง่ายๆ ที่สามารถเริ่มได้ทันที

1️⃣ ตั้งคำถาม
กระตุ้นความอยากรู้อยากเห็นโดยการชวนเด็กๆ คิดและตั้งคำถาม เช่น ทำไมฝนถึงตกหนักขึ้น น้ำท่วมเกิดขึ้นได้อย่างไร หรือทำไมบางปีจึงมีฝนตกในฤดูหนาว วิธีนี้จะช่วยให้เด็กๆ เห็นว่าการเปลี่ยนแปลงสภาพภูมิอากาศไม่ใช่เรื่องไกลตัว แต่เป็นสิ่งที่พวกเขาสามารถสังเกตเห็นได้ในชีวิตประจำวัน

2️⃣ เชื่อมโยงการลงมือทำด้านสภาพภูมิอากาศกับกิจวัตรประจำวัน
เริ่มต้นจากการเป็นแบบอย่างที่ดี และเสริมพฤติกรรมที่เป็นมิตรต่อสิ่งแวดล้อมเข้าไปในชีวิตประจำวัน เช่น ปิดไฟเมื่อออกจากห้อง ใช้แก้วรองน้ำขณะแปรงฟัน หรือเลือกเดินทางด้วยรถสาธารณะ การกระทำเล็กๆ เหล่านี้จะช่วยทำให้การลงมือทำด้านสภาพภูมิอากาศเป็นเรื่องที่จับต้องได้ นอกจากนี้ เรายังสามารถร่วมกันส่งเสียงเพื่อสะท้อนปัญหาสิ่งแวดล้อมในพื้นที่ และมีส่วนร่วมกับผู้นำชุมชนหรือผู้แทนทางการเมือง โดยเฉพาะในช่วงการเลือกตั้ง เพื่อให้การลงมือทำในชีวิตประจำวันขยายผลไปสู่การตัดสินใจในระดับท้องถิ่น

3️⃣ เรียนรู้ผ่านธรรมชาติและประสบการณ์จริง
ช่วยให้เด็กๆ เข้าใจเรื่องสภาพภูมิอากาศผ่านการใช้เวลาอยู่ท่ามกลางธรรมชาติและกิจกรรมสร้างสรรค์ เช่น เดินเรียนรู้ธรรมชาติ ปลูกต้นไม้ หรือทำงานประดิษฐ์จากวัสดุรีไซเคิล การลงมือทำเชิงบวกจะช่วยปลูกฝังความอยากรู้อยากเห็น ความมั่นใจ และความหวัง ในปีที่ผ่านมา พันธมิตรของ BIG Trees ก็ได้จัดกิจกรรม Biodiversity Walk ที่สวนเบญจกิติ และสำหรับผู้ที่สนใจส่งเสริมการเรียนรู้ด้านสิ่งแวดล้อมสำหรับเด็กๆ อย่างจริงจัง EECTHAILAND ก็มีหลักสูตรที่น่าสนใจมากมาย

Children have the greatest stake in how we tackle climate change. Not only are they among the most vulnerable to its impacts, but their future prospects are directly shaped by both climate risks and the actions we take today. That is why it is not enough to simply teach children about climate change; we must also invite them into the conversation, co-create solutions with them, and provide safe spaces for them to lead positive change.

During the inaugural , we hosted several kid- and family-friendly activities, including the “Bangkok Youth Climate Action Challenge” organised by Bangkok Prep International School, the “Youth Climate Action Heroes Challenge” by the Embassy of Sweden in Bangkok, and the Children’s Workshop “Here I Am!” Map Weaving at the Bangkok Art and Culture Centre. These activities were designed to make climate action fun and accessible for all.

If you’re a parent, teacher, or a cool auntie/uncle looking to introduce children to climate change, here are a few easy ways to start:

1️⃣ Ask questions
Encourage curiosity by asking children why they think it’s raining so heavily, how floods happen, or why it rains in winter. This helps show that climate change isn’t a distant issue, it’s something they can observe in everyday life.

2️⃣ Connect climate action to daily routines
Lead by example and weave climate-friendly habits into daily life. Simple actions like turning off lights when leaving a room, using a cup while brushing teeth, or choosing public transport can make climate action feel practical and achievable. Beyond personal habits, individuals can also raise local environmental concerns and engage with community leaders and political representatives, especially during election seasons, so that everyday climate action extends from households into local decision-making.

3️⃣ Learn through nature and hands-on experiences
Help children understand climate change by spending time outdoors and engaging in creative, practical activities from nature walks and planting trees to hands-on projects like recycling art. Focusing on solutions and positive action nurtures curiosity, confidence, and hope rather than fear. Last year, our partner BIG Trees hosted a Biodiversity Walk at Benchakitti Park, and for those interested in deeper environmental learning, EECTHAILAND offers excellent programmes.

ขอแสดงความยินดีกับทั้ง 6 โครงการที่ได้รับทุนสนับสนุนจากกองทุน BKKCAW Climate Action Fund 2025 🏆🌟🍃

กองทุนเพื่อการขับเคลื่อนด้านสภาพภูมิอากาศ หรือ Climate Action Fund (CAF) สนับสนุนโดย #มูลนิธิเพื่อคนไทย เป็นกลไกเงินทุนสนับสนุนขนาดเล็กรูปแบบใหม่ ซึ่งนำร่องภายใต้งาน โดยมีเป้าหมายในการสนับสนุนโครงการขนาดเล็กที่มีความคิดสร้างสรรค์ ครอบคลุม และสร้างผลกระทบอย่างเป็นรูปธรรม สอดคล้องกับเป้าหมายการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน (SDGs) ที่ประเทศไทยให้ความสำคัญ ตลอดจนวัตถุประสงค์หลักทั้ง 4 ข้อของ ได้แก่

1️⃣ Activate: เปิดพื้นที่และเชิญชวนผู้คนให้มีส่วนร่วมในการขับเคลื่อนการดำเนินงานด้านสภาพภูมิอากาศ
2️⃣ Connect & Collaborate: เชื่อมโยงและส่งเสริมความร่วมมือเพื่อสร้างผลกระทบผ่านการลงมือทำร่วมกัน
3️⃣ Demonstrate: นำเสนอแนวทางการแก้ไขปัญหาที่สร้างการเปลี่ยนแปลงได้จริง โดยคำนึงถึงวัฒนธรรมและผู้คนในท้องถิ่นเป็นหลัก
4️⃣ Shape: สร้างเสริมให้การขับเคลื่อนด้านสภาพภูมิอากาศเป็นประเด็นที่เปิดกว้าง เปี่ยมไปด้วยความหวัง และครอบคลุมมากยิ่งขึ้น

กองทุน CAF ให้การสนับสนุนโครงการขนาดเล็กที่ขับเคลื่อนโดยผู้คนในชุมชน เพื่อทดลองและพัฒนาแนวทางแก้ไขปัญหาด้านสภาพภูมิอากาศที่นำไปปฏิบัติได้จริง พร้อมเสริมพลังให้กับชุมชน เครือข่ายเยาวชน วิสาหกิจขนาดกลางและขนาดย่อม (SMEs) และความร่วมมือจากภาคอุสาหกรรมสร้างสรรค์ ในการลงมือทำเพื่อขับเคลื่อนการเปลี่ยนแปลงด้านสภาพภูมิอากาศ ทั้งในช่วงระหว่างและหลังจากงาน

🌱 “The Nature Action” โดย The Next Forest

เสริมสร้างความเข้มแข็งให้กับโครงการที่ดำเนินงานด้านทรัพยากรธรรมชาติทั่วกรุงเทพฯ โดยการสร้างความตระหนักรู้ของสาธารณชนผ่านกิจกรรมที่เน้นการลงมือทำเชิงบวก และยกระดับความร่วมมือระหว่างองค์กรในเครือข่าย

🌱 “Training of Trainer” โดย เครือข่ายเยาวชนระดับโลกเพื่อความหลากหลายทางชีวภาพ ประจำประเทศไทย

โครงการฝึกอบรมผู้ฝึกสอน พัฒนาขึ้นเพื่อเสริมพลังผู้นำเยาวชน สร้างเครือข่าย Youth Citizen Science Network และนำร่องแนวทางแก้ไขปัญหาสภาพภูมิอากาศที่ขับเคลื่อนด้วยข้อมูลและตั้งอยู่บนฐานชุมชน

🌱 “Youth Climate Action Challenge” โดย โรงเรียนนานาชาติบางกอกเพรพ

การแข่งขันระดับเมืองที่เปิดโอกาสให้นักเรียนจากโรงเรียนไทยและนานาชาติในกรุงเทพฯ มาร่วมกันพัฒนาแนวคิดด้านสภาพภูมิอากาศที่สร้างสรรค์และสามารถนำไปปฏิบัติได้

🌱 “Everyone Can Green” by Green Talent Generation

โครงการส่งเสริมการเรียนรู้ด้านสิ่งแวดล้อมอย่างครอบคลุมสำหรับผู้พิการ ดำเนินการผ่านกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้ธรรมชาติเป็นเวลา 2 วัน ณ ศูนย์การเรียนรู้ป่าในกรุง

นิตยสารดิจิทัล Lightly ที่ได้เปิดตัวไปในช่วงการจัดงาน BKKCAW 2025 จัดทำขึ้นเพื่อเชิญชวนให้ทุกคนมาลองเรียนรู้วิธีการดูแลโลกในแบบง่ายๆ ผ่านการเล่าเรื่องจากมุมมองของเด็กๆ และเยาวชน

🌱 Mekong Youth Eco Resilience Network

โครงการที่สนับสนุนให้เยาวชนจากประเทศไทยและเมียนมามาร่วมกันออกแบบและสร้างสรรค์แนวทางปฏิบัติ เพื่อการรับมือต่อการเปลี่ยนแปลงสภาพภูมิอากาศสำหรับชุมชนเมืองและพื้นที่เปราะบาง

Congratulations to all six recipients of the - Climate Action Fund 🏆🌟🍃

The Climate Action Fund (CAF), kindly supported by Khonthaifoundation, is a new small-grants mechanism piloted under . It supports creative, inclusive, and impactful grassroots initiatives aligned with Thailand’s priority SDGs as well as BKKCAW’s four objectives:

1️⃣ Activate: Bring more people into climate action
2️⃣ Connect & Collaborate: Enable greater impact through collective action
3️⃣ Demonstrate: Showcase transformative, locally grounded solutions
4️⃣ Shape: Foster more inclusive, hopeful narratives for climate action

CAF provides direct support to small-scale, locally driven projects that prototype practical climate solutions and empower communities, youth networks, SMEs, and creative coalitions to take climate-positive action during and beyond .

We are delighted to introduce the six selected projects, each contributing to climate action in distinct and meaningful ways:

🌱 “The Nature Action” by The Next Forest: Strengthening nature-based initiatives across Bangkok by boosting public awareness through positive action and improving collaboration among nature-focused organisations.

🌱 “Training of Trainer” by Global Youth Biodiversity Network (GYBN): A Training of Trainer programme empowering youth leaders, building a Youth Citizen Science Network, and piloting data-driven, community-based climate solutions.

🌱 “Youth Climate Action Challenge” by Bangkok Prep International School: A city-wide competition inviting students from Thai and international schools in Bangkok to develop innovative and actionable climate ideas.

🌱 “Everyone Can Green” by Green Talent Generation: An inclusive environmental learning programme for persons with disabilities, delivered through a two-day nature education activity at the “Pa Nai Krung” Urban Forest Learning Center.

🌱 CREAM Bangkok: Lightly, a digital zine launching during BKKCAW 2025, amplifying children’s and young people’s voices on simple and easy climate-friendly actions through storytelling.

🌱 Mekong Youth Eco Resilience Network: Empowering youth from Thailand and Myanmar to co-create grassroots eco-resilience actions for vulnerable urban and rural communities.

“ไม่มีการโทษ ไม่มีการตัดสิน ทุกคนทำในแบบที่ตัวเองอยากทำ และผมรักสิ่งนี้มาก” 🌎🫶🏻

ริเริ่มขึ้นด้วยความเชื่อว่า “ความหวัง” คือหัวใจสำคัญในการขับเคลื่อนการลงมือทำด้านสภาพภูมิอากาศ เพราะแม้ความเสี่ยงจากวิกฤติภูมิอากาศจะทวีความรุนแรงขึ้น แต่อนาคตจะเป็นอย่างไรนั้น ขึ้นอยู่กับการตัดสินใจและการลงมือทำร่วมกันของพวกเราทุกคน

อย่างที่คุณอเล็กซ์ เรนเดลล์ ผู้ร่วมก่อตั้งและประธานกรรมการบริหาร EECTHAILAND และสมาชิกคณะกรรมการขับเคลื่อนงาน ได้กล่าวถึงในโพสต์ไว้ว่า BKKCAW เป็นของพวกเราทุกคน ไม่ได้เป็นขององค์กรใดองค์กรหนึ่ง แต่เกิดจากการร่วมสร้างของผู้คนที่ใส่ใจ ผู้จัดงานที่แบ่งปันองค์ความรู้ พันธมิตรที่สนับสนุนพื้นที่และทรัพยากร และผู้เข้าร่วมที่พร้อมจะเรียนรู้ เชื่อมโยง และทดลองสิ่งใหม่ๆ ร่วมกัน

Bangkok Climate Action Week was built on the belief that hope is essential for driving climate action. Because while climate risks are rising, the future is shaped by the choices we make together.

As Khun Alex Rendell, Co-founder and CEO of the Environmental Education Centre, and member of BKKCAW2025 Steering Committee, mentioned in his post: BKKCAW belongs to all of us. It is not owned by any single organisation, but co-created by people who care, organisers who shared their knowledge, partners who offered space and resources, and participants who showed up ready to learn, connect, and experiment.

Through BKKCAW, people have discovered diverse and meaningful ways to contribute to climate action and are carrying that energy forward into their communities, work, and everyday lives.

When we approach climate action with care, creativity, and hope, positive change is not only possible, it’s already underway.
