During Intersections: Art Summit 2025, Gravity Art Space hosted a room of our own—dedicated to highlighting the artists we represent and the talent we believe in.

We featured works by , , , .gokita , , and .

It was a space to share the practices we’ve nurtured with a wider community, and to take part in the summit not just as organizers, but as collaborators and advocates for the artists we work with.

Set inside a bedroom, this collaboration transformed the space into a soft, symbolic meeting point-part honeymoon suite, part shared archive of memory and place.

Karina’s quilted bedcover featured the phrase “Nice
to meet you” in Thai (ยินดีที่ได้รู้จัก) and Cebuano
(Gikalipay nako ang pakighimamat kanimo), sewn together with rose petal-shaped red fabric-an offering of connection and care.

Awika sculpted sea creatures and swans from towels, drawing from her work with fisherfolk communities in Roxas City and southern Thailand. The terry cloth became a medium for storytelling, tenderness, and cross-cultural ties.

Intersections: Art Summit is rooted in the crossing of cultures, stories, and ways of making—and Marketa Kolarova’s journey embodies this spirit. A Czech artist who spent time in the Philippines and recently exhibited with Gravity Art Space (), her work has traveled further, reaching new audiences in Thailand through the summit.

One of the most tender and unforgettable moments from Intersections: Art Summit 2025 was BALIKBAYAN, a group exhibition by Verygood Gallery.

Set inside a transformed hotel room, the show recreated the everyday realities of Overseas Filipino Workers—a makeshift bedspace with curtain dividers, worn clothes laid out like someone preparing to return home, and a balikbayan box slowly filled with pasalubong and portraits of OFWs.

It spoke softly but powerfully about sacrifice, resilience, and the ache of distance. Through intimate gestures and shared objects, the artists offered a glimpse into the lives of those who leave to care for others, while quietly carrying their own longing for home.

Deep thanks to and the exhibiting artists for this moving tribute:abino

Looking back at Intersections: Art Summit 2025, we’re grateful for the incredible collaboration with Thumbnail Gallery ( ) for 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗮𝗻𝗴𝘂𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗛𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘀, exhibited last February in .bangkok .

Curated by Miles Villanueva (), the show featured works by , , , , , and .

The exhibition reflected on the hand as a universal symbol—of memory, labor, expression, and care—especially in an age shaped by screens and distance. Through personal and material explorations, the artists offered tactile responses to human connection.
