✨ Today, we would like to introduce another activity from Triplet Artgroup ✨
Many of you may already be familiar with our regular Saturday Still Life sessions. However, these activities are part of the Triplet Artgroup Workshop, which is designed for those interested in art to learn and develop their skills in a structured way through an Academic Art Class approach.
What we value most is building a strong understanding of the fundamentals of art. Rather than simply following steps to complete a final piece, our focus is on learning the process of thinking, observing, and applying techniques that can be further developed independently in the future.
In each class, the three instructors from Triplet Artgroup will guide participants step by step—from understanding tools and materials, learning observation skills, analyzing shapes, proportions, light and shadow, sketching, and painting, through to completing a full artwork. The atmosphere is friendly and classroom-based, where questions, discussions, and feedback are always welcome throughout the session.
In addition to Still Life sessions, workshop topics change each time to allow participants to explore a variety of techniques and materials. Previous workshops include:
🎨 Gouache 101 — learning the fundamentals of gouache painting and color control
🖨️ Linocut Printmaking — exploring the process of printmaking using Lino techniques, from design and carving to printing
💡 Light & Shadow Study — practicing observation of light, shadow, and form to develop drawing and perception skills
All workshops follow a structured teaching approach, ensuring participants understand both theory and practice together.
A participation fee applies for each workshop. All necessary materials, as well as light refreshments including sandwiches and coffee, are provided so participants can fully focus on learning and creating.
