Sometimes Trouble

Sometimes Trouble is a young long-form improvisational theater group. We find great joy in exploring relationships and characters. We aim to truthfully explore the bonds that bind us together, nourish us, shape us, and sometimes break us. Once in a while we’re able to capture a moment of emotional authenticity in our scene work. Our goal is to string together these moments into a play. Michelangelo had said that every block of stone has a statue inside it and it’s the task of the sculptor to discover it. We thank you for joining us in our journey of finding that play in our block of time and we apologize for the wasteland of disfigured blocks we’re leaving in our wake.

Sometimes Trouble comprises of Shulin Tay, Sean Booth, Borja Reh, and Anshuman Sinha. Cecilia Encinas Gamazo and Vic Ong are former members.
