“Made in Bangpho”
จากกองขี้เลื่อยหน้าร้าน สู่คำถามใหญ่ของย่านงานช่างไม้
บางโพคือย่านงานไม้เก่าแก่ของกรุงเทพฯ เต็มไปด้วยช่างฝีมือและร้านไม้ที่คุ้นตา แต่ในวันที่ต้นทุนสูงขึ้น และผู้คนหันไปซื้อของสำเร็จรูปมากกว่าเดิม คำถามสำคัญจึงไม่ใช่แค่ว่าบางโพจะขายอะไรต่อไป หากแต่ชุมชนงานช่างแห่งนี้จะอยู่รอดและเติบโตอย่างยั่งยืนได้อย่างไร
Made in Bangpho ภายใต้ Bangkok Design Week 2026 ใช้ดีไซน์เป็นเครื่องมือชวนคิด ไม่ใช่คำตอบสำเร็จ ตั้งแต่วัฒนธรรมการซ่อม (Repair Culture) ผ่านหนังสั้นของ Sun & Moon Bangkok ไปจนถึง Sawdust Pavilion ที่แปรรูปขี้เลื่อย วัสดุเหลือใช้ และเศษอาหารให้กลายเป็นวัสดุใหม่ โดย Wastematters x Primary Workshop เพื่อชวนตั้งคำถามว่า “แบรนด์” คือการตลาด หรือคือทางรอดของชุมชนงานช่างในเมืองใหญ่

From sawdust on the sidewalk to big questions about Bangpho
Bangpho is one of Bangkok’s long-standing woodworking districts, known for its craftsmen and timber shops. As costs rise and people turn to ready-made furniture, the key question is no longer what Bangpho can sell—but how this craft community can continue to survive and grow.
Presented as part of Bangkok Design Week 2026, Made in Bangpho uses design to spark conversation. From Repair Culture in a short film by Sun & Moon Bangkok to the Sawdust Pavilion, made from sawdust and leftover materials by Wastematters x Primary Workshop, the exhibition asks whether branding is just marketing—or a real way forward for craft communities in the city.
