🎻 Calling Musicians to BICO Audition 2026 🎻
Join us for Handel’s Messiah and become part of BICO community!

Bangkok International Community Orchestra (BICO) is now inviting musicians to audition for the annual Handel’s Messiah concert performed by Bangkok Combined Choir and Orchestra.

📅 Audition Dates
• Thu 15 Oct 2026 | 5:00 – 8:00 p.m.
• Thu 22 Oct 2026 | 5:00 – 8:00 p.m.
📍 Mater Dei School

🎻 Open Positions
Violin • Viola • Cello • Double Bass
Flute • Oboe • Clarinet • Bassoon
Trumpet • French Horn • Trombone • Harp

👦🏻 Who can apply?👩🏻
• Musicians age 15 and above
• New musicians eager to join a passionate and talented group
• Individuals passionate about music and performance

*All selected candidates must be available to attend all rehearsals.*

🎼 What to prepare
• One solo piece that best showcases your skill (Grade 6 or above)
• The required Orchestral excerpts (provided below)
• A short sight-reading excerpt, which will be selected by the audition committees on the day of the audition

Looking Back at BCCO Mid-Year Concert 2025: Haydn’s The Creation
[with a special performance clip shared below]

Around this time last year, Bangkok Combined Choir and Orchestra had the privilege of presenting Joseph Haydn’s magnificent oratorio, The Creation, at the Thailand Cultural Centre on 24 June 2025. It was conducted by our beloved maestro, Charunee Hongcharu.

With the generous support of B.Grimm, our main supporter, the concert brought together singers, orchestral musicians, soloists, and audiences to experience a powerful musical celebration of the beauty and wonder of creation.

We are delighted to share this special video clip from the performance and invite you to revisit some memorable moments from the concert with us. Whether you joined us in the hall or are discovering the performance for the first time, we hope the music brings you joy and inspiration.
