Just a few months ago, we had a client call in enquiring about our product and asked if we could provide them with a discount. Which we were happily ready to give since they were one of our first customers.
At some point in the conversation they gave me their quote and what they were willing to pay for my product. Sad to say that the price they quote didn’t even cover my initial investment. I wanted some time to explain to them why things cost the amount they do but we knew there was no point to all of this.
It makes us sad that some people are okay with asking small businesses and creators in the creative industry for a discount but don’t have the courage to do the same when it comes to the bigger brands.
We wanted to take this opportunity to list out some reasons why we charge the amount we do.
