สยามซินโฟนิเอตต้าตั้งขึ้นเมื่อปี พ.ศ. 2553 โดยความริเริ่มของกลุ่มนักดนตรีเยาวชนชาวไทยจำนวนหนึ่ง ภายใต้การสนับสนุนของโอเปร่าสยาม อินเตอร์เนชั่นแนล และฟูมฟักพวกเราจนเติบโตโดย อาจารย์สมเถา สุจริตกุล คีตกวีและศิลปินศิลปาธรกิตติคุณ และพี่พิซซ่า-
ทฤษฎี ณ พัทลุง วาทยกรและนักเปียโนชาวไทย ปัจจุบัน สยามซินโฟนิเอตต้าได้ก้าเข้าสู่ปีที่ 7 อย่างเต็มภาคภูมิ และผลิตนักดนตรีคลาสสิกที่มีความรู้ความสามารถรับใช้วงการดนตรีคลาสสิกในประเทศไทย และศึกษาต่อต่างประเทศหลายคน รวมถึงมีประสบการณ์ในการเป็นสมาชิกวงออร์เคสตราที่ได้เล่น Repetoire หลากลหลายตั้งแต่ยุคบารอคจนถึงร่วมสมัยครับ
This is the official fan page of the Siam Sinfonietta, Thailand's most internationally renowned youth orchestra, currently its seventh season. Siam Sinfonietta is a youth orchestra founded in 2010 by Thai/American composer Somtow Sucharitkul, Thai conductor Trisdee na Patalung, and the Bangkok Opera Foundation. It was created in order to provide intensive training for young Thai musicians intending to have a serious career in classical music. The orchestra operates out of the offices of the Bangkok Opera Foundation. The Siam Sinfonietta is the winner of the 2012 Summa Cum Laude competition at the Golden Hall in Vienna, beating out orchestras from the United States, Australia, and Denmark for the first place. It subsequently won Gold Medals twice in Carnegie Hall (International Music Festivals) and once at the Los Angeles International Music Festival.
