กิจกรรมนี้เป็นผลงาน สวนห้องนั่งเล่น ในกรุงเทพฯ (2560) ของศิลปิน รอสลิแซม อิสมาอิลล์ (อิเสะ) ร่วมกับ ปาร์คกิ้ง โปรเจค ซุปเปอร์เฟรนด์ส ในส่วนหนึ่งของนิทรรศการ รยางค์สัมพันธ์ จัดขึ้น ณ ห้องนิทรรศการหลักชั้น 8 ระหว่างวันที่ 31 มีนาคม – 2 กรกฎาคม 2560

กิจกรรมนี้ เป็นการสร้างความใกล้ชิดของผู้ชมงานและการสร้างความมีส่วนร่วมกับผู้ชมหรือผู้ที่สนใจ โดยที่ไม่ต้องมีสถานะว่าเป็นศิลปินหรือผู้มีตำแหน่งใดๆ ของวงการศิลปะ เพราะศิลปะเป็นสิ่งจำเป็นสำหรับทุกคนแต่ไม่ใช่สิ่งสำคัญที่จะให้คุณค่าหรือสถานะที่สูงส่งราวกับเป็นโลกอุดมคติที่ไม่สามารถเอื้อมถึง เพราะมนุษย์นั้นมีอิสรภาพและพลังการสร้างสรรค์ในตัวเอง เราจึงเปิดพื้นที่นี้ให้เป็นพื้นที่ของการสร้างสรรค์ โดยสร้างระบบการกระจายผลงานศิลปะของทุกคนผ่านรูปแบบร้านค้าขายผลงานสร้างสรรค์ โดยโต๊ะ MAFIA TABLE (ภายในพื้นที่ผลงาน สวนห้องนั่งเล่น ในกรุงเทพฯ (2560) ของศิลปิน รอสลิแซม อิสมาอิลล์ (อิเสะ) นิทรรศการ รยางค์สัมพันธ์ ชั้น 8 หอศิลปวัฒนธรรมแห่งกรุงเทพมหานคร) ของเรา จะเป็นคนกลางในการจำลองระบบนี้ขึ้นโดยการเปิดพื้นที่ให้ผู้ชมหรือบุคคลทั่วไปสามารถส่งผลงานในรูปแบบใดก็ได้ไม่จำกัดรูปแบบผ่านทางOnline เป็นผลงานไฟล์ดิจิตัล หรือสามารถยกผลงานของตนเองเข้ามาลงทะเบียนได้ที่บริเวณโต๊ะ MAFIA TABLE อีกทั้งในบริเวณโต๊ะของเรายังมี โรงงาน (Factory) เป็นพื้นที่การผลิตผลงานสร้างสรรค์โดยผู้ชมสามารถเลือกผลิตผลงานสร้างสรรค์จากผลงานศิลปะระดับโลกที่ชื่นชอบ และเมื่อเสร็จกระบวนการผลิต ผู้ชมสามารถลงทะเบียนกับทางผู้จัดและนำไปขึ้นเชลฟ์เพื่อขายผลงานต่อไป โดยทางเราจะมีเชลฟ์วางขายสินค้าเพื่อตั้งโชว์ผลงานให้ผู้ชมได้เลือกซื้อผลงานได้ในราคาตามความพึงพอใจของผู้ซื้อและผู้ขาย และทางผู้จัดจะมีกิจกรรมใหญ่คือ End of Season Sale เป็นกิจกรรมที่เปิดรับผลงานสร้างสรรค์จนมาถึงวันสุดท้ายของกิจกรรมและเป็นกิจกรรมการซื้อขายครั้งใหญ่ในวันที่ 10-11 มิถุนายนพ.ศ. 2560
เกี่ยวกับ สวนห้องนั่งเล่น ในกรุงเทพฯ (2560)
หัวใจของโครงการสวนนี้ คือห้องนั่งเล่นของอิเสะที่กัวลาลัมเปอร์ พื้นที่กว้างขวางสดสว่างที่จุดประกายความคิดผสานรวมกับสีสันของใบปลิวและงานศิลปะบนกำแพง การอธิบายความรู้สึกสบายของพื้นที่นี้อาจฟังดูเหมือนการโปรโมทสปา แต่เชื่อเถอะว่าความหนักอึ้งบนบ่าของคุณจะหายไปเมื่อได้ก้าวเข้ามาในห้องนี้ ไม่มีใครออกจากห้องนั่งเล่นนี้ไปโดยไม่ยิ้มกว้าง หรือไม่รู้สึกว่าได้รับแรงบันดาลใจและสดใสได้เลย จินตนาการว่าห้องนั่งเล่นนี้เป็นพื้นที่อิสระ พื้นที่ว่างตรงนั้นที่มีบรรดาเพื่อนแท้มารวมตัวกัน จุดสำคัญอยู่ที่ภาพถ่ายบ้าๆ บอๆ ที่เอาไว้ทำการ์ดอวยพรสำหรับวันเฉลิมฉลองการออกศีลอด จะมาพบกันแบบสบายๆ หรือจะมานอนค้างก็ได้ ไม่ต้องมีข้อบังคับว่าต้องแต่งตัวอย่างไร เพราะที่แห่งนี้เป็นเปรียบเหมือนบ้านหลังที่สอง มีโซฟานั่งสบายที่ให้เอาไว้นั่งคิดเรื่องต่างๆ เกี่ยวกับชีวิต โต๊ะทำงานกว้างขวางที่มีไว้ใส่ความคิดอะไรก็ได้ และข้างๆ เป็นห้องครัวเก๋ๆ เอาไว้ดื่มชา ถ้าโชคดี อิเสะอาจจะทำอาหารมาเลเซียสุดพิเศษให้กิน
ระเบียงมีลมเย็นๆ พัดมาตลอดทั้งวันทั้งคืน ตอนกลางวันจะมีแดดส่องเต็มที่และตอนกลางคืนก็จะเห็นไฟระยิบระยับสวยงามในเมือง
โครงการสวนห้องนั่งเล่นได้เปลี่ยนหน้าตาและสถานที่มาสามครั้ง แต่ยังคงบรรยากาศและความรู้สึกที่ดีขึ้นเรื่อยๆ ในทุกครั้งที่เปลี่ยนไป ไม่ว่าใครก็สามารถสร้างห้องนั่งเล่นแบบนี้ได้ แต่เป็นฝีมืออันแสนพิเศษของอิเสะที่ทำให้ห้องนั่งเล่นนี้มีกลิ่นอายที่มีเอกลักษณ์

เกี่ยวกับศิลปิน
รอสลิแซม อิสมาอิลล์ (เกิด 2515, มาเลเซีย) เป็นที่รู้จักกันในชื่อ อิเสะ เขาเป็นศิลปินผู้มีความรู้หลากหลายสาขาวิชา ผลงานของเขาประกอบด้วยศิลปะจัดวาง วิดีทัศน์ศิลป์ และโครงการแบบมีส่วนร่วม แนวทางปฏิบัติของเขาได้รับการกล่าวขานในวงกว้างว่าเป็นการแสดงออกถึงศิลปกรรมนิยม และประวัติศาสตร์สมมติของสถานที่และวัฒนธรรมต่างๆ อิสมาอิลล์จบการศึกษาจาก Mara University of Technology (UiTM), มาเลเซีย, 2540 เขาได้เข้าร่วมนิทรรศการของพิพิธภัณฑ์และหอศิลป์หลายแห่ง รวมถึงโครงการศิลปินพำนักทั้งในระดับท้องถิ่นและสากล เช่น The 9th Istanbul Biennial โดยความร่วมมือกับ Indonesia’s ruangrupa (2005) Jakarta Biennale (2552) Singapore Biennale (2554) Asia Triennial Manchester (2554) Asia Pacific Triennale (APT) (บริสเบน, 2555) และล่าสุด เขาได้แสดงในงาน the Archipel Secret (Palais de Tokyo, ปารีส, 2558) อิสมาอิลล์เป็นผู้ริเริ่มโครงการ Parking Project ซึ่งเป็นการใช้อพาร์ทเมนท์ของเขาที่กัวลาลัมเปอร์สร้างพื้นที่ให้ศิลปิน และเป็นผู้ร่วมก่อตั้งนิตยสารศิลปะมาเลเซีย sentAp! อีกด้วย
กลุ่ม Mafia table คือการรวมตัวของนักสร้างสรรค์ที่มีความสงสัยต่อความเป็นไปของวัฒนธรรม และมักใช้เวลานั่งถกเถียงเพื่อหาคำตอบกันเสมอๆในเวลาว่างจากการเรียนการสอน หลังจากจบการศึกษาจากภาควิชาวิจิตรศิลป์ สจล.แต่ละคนก็แยกย้ายไปทำในสิ่งที่ตนถนัด แต่ยังคงพบเจอและยังคงตั้งคำถามและถกเถียงกันในประเด็นต่างๆเพื่อทำความเข้าใจในสังคมร่วมสมัยร่วมกัน และเนื่องจากความถนัดในแต่ละคนที่มีแตกต่างกันจึงร่วมกันทำงานด้วยกันและใช้ตัววัฒนธรรมที่สนใจเป็นเครื่องมือในการสร้างสรรค์ผลงาน

The event is a performance of Roslisham Ismail (aka Ise) in collaboration with Parking Project Superfriends Living Room Parking Project. In Bangkok (2017) as part of Mode of Liaisons exhibition on view at main gallery on 8th floor from 31 March – 2 July 2017.

"What Do You Mean?" is the project about creating the closeness and the cooperation with audiences. In this project, some statuses in the art society of viewers are not necessary, it is not significant you are artist or not, because art is necessary for everyone. However, the value of art as the same as the high-end thing or the something in the utopia, which some audiences could not touch is not important. The reason is everyone has their own freedom and power for creating. As a result, the project would like to create the space for creating by making the system of disseminated artworks in the creative goods shop form. The Mafia Table, which is located in the area of Living Room Parking Project. In Bangkok (2017) by Roslisham Ismail (aka Ise) at Mode of Liaisons, 8th floor, Bangkok Art and Culture Centre, will be a middleman for imitating the system by opening the space and giving an opportunity to everyone. People, who are interested in the project, could sent their works, the project could accept any techniques or any forms. For example, digital files or physical objects. However, if you would like to send the digital files, you could send them via online system or if you would like to send the physical objects, you should send them to the Mafia Table space by yourself and then register at the space.
In addition, in the Mafia Table space will have a factory for making creative objects. You could create some artworks by choosing some pictures of masterpieces from world-class artists, which you favor. Then, when your creation process finishes, you could register with Mafia Table’s staffs and display your works on the project’s shelves. After that, audiences could buy the artworks on the shelves with the price, which viewers would like to pay. Furthermore, the project will have a big activity, which is End of Season Sale. The activity is the last day of open call for artworks. It will happen between 10 and 11 June 2017 at The Mafia Table.
About Living Room Parking Project. In Bangkok (2017)
The heart of Parking Project is Ise’s living room in Kuala Lumpur. Bright airy space where sparks of idea intertwine with the colors of flyers and artwork on the wall. Trying to describe the relaxed feel of this space will just sound like an attempt to promote a spa, but trust that the weight on one’s shoulders will be lifted upon entering the living room. No one leaves The Living Room without a huge smile and without feeling inspired and invigorated. Imagine, the living room as a liberal space. That one free space where Superfriends gather. The pivotal point where wacky photo shoots are held for Eid greeting cards, meetings are done so casually it might as well be a sleepover. No dress code needed because it feels like going to your second home. There’s a comfortable couch to contemplate life on, a big working table to throw ideas at, and just by it, a cozy kitchen to make tea at. If you’re lucky, Ise might just cook you a special Malaysian dish. The balcony brings in beautiful breeze day and night, as well as a flood of sunlight in the daytime and showcases beautiful city lights at night.
Parking Project’s living room has changed face and location thrice and still the atmosphere and vibe only got better with every change. Sure anybody can just try to recreate this living room anywhere. But it’s Ise’s special touch that gives The Living Room its unique vibe.

ABOUT ARTISTS
Roslisham Ismail (b. 1972, Malaysia) also known as Ise. Ismail is a multidisciplinary artist whose works include installation, video art, and participatory projects. His practice was largely informed by expressions of popular culture and served to represent alternative histories of place and culture. Ismail graduated from Mara University of Technology (UiTM), Malaysia, 1997. Ismail participated in numerous gallery and museum exhibitions and art residencies both locally and internationally. He took part in the 9th Istanbul Biennial collaborating with Indonesia’s ruangrupa (2005), Jakarta Biennale (2009), Singapore Biennale (2011), Asia Triennial Manchester (2011), Asia Pacific Triennale APT (Brisbane, Australia, 2012). Most recently, he was featured in the Archipel Secret show (Palais de Tokyo, Paris, 2015). Ismail was also the founder of Parking Project, an artist’s space based in his apartment in Kuala Lumpur, and a co-founder of Malaysian art publication sentAp!
The Mafia table is a creators assemble that graduated from Department of fine art, Each other went to do our own things but still meet and we have a curious about cultural possibilities and spend the time for discussing on difference issues to understand contemporary society together. Even though our group has a difference aptitude but we collaborate by using the same interests of culture as a tool to create our works.
