Just published an old video I shot back in 2005 of the psychedelic Japanese band, DMBQ. If you all like ZeitGeistS (from Bangkok) you'll likely love this. Alas the sound quality isn't the best but it gives you a great sense of the scene at the Star Bar in Atlanta, GA. Interestingly the Black Lips opened for them and that's the music you hear at the very beginning of the video. If you play really close attention you might spot a much younger me shooting film shots of the event as well.

Only AFTER the booking do they tell you that Japan requires an international drivers license and that my US license will not work. They also will NOT refund my rental fee even though I only booked it minutes before. What kind of sick fraudulent organization is this? Who else has been cheated by these scum?

Hi all - wanted to give a post-mortem of the Pamungkas event issues we had. Unfortunately, despite spending a week doing testing against the new system before the show, we had a major error come up in the composite audience system that brings all the audience video & sound together. It was not a capacity issue as we tested beyond the capacity of the event with no issues. Apparently there was a problem with some rare edge condition that our test cases didn't fully explore where people coming in & out could leave the system in an unstable state and cause the back end to crash. Sadly that's the risks of what can happen in a beta platform. Fortunately we were able to route back to YouTube as our backup plan and the show went off quite well. We appreciate your patience and understanding and hope to get a great event next time as all our prior events have been!
