25 Years of Rainforest The Wedding

Twenty five years ago, Rainforest The Wedding began with a simple belief.

Beautiful design has the power to create unforgettable moments.

For the past twenty five years, we have had the privilege of celebrating love, transforming spaces, and creating experiences that exist only once. Every wedding we have designed has become more than an event. It has become a memory that families will cherish for generations.

Along this journey, we discovered something even more meaningful.
We were never simply designing weddings.
We were designing emotions.
We were creating memories.
We were bringing people closer together.
That realization changed everything.

Today, Rainforest The Wedding is no longer defined solely by weddings.
Our purpose is much greater.

We believe that great design should not belong only to private celebrations. It should also inspire communities, bring joy to public spaces, and create moments that people can share together.

RakDok Floral Weeks became the first step of that journey.
It showed us that happiness can grow beyond a single couple, beyond a single family, and blossom into something an entire community can experience together.

As we celebrate our twenty fifth anniversary, we are not simply looking back with pride.

At Rainforest The Wedding, we don’t decorate weddings. “We create worlds that exist only once.”

We’re looking for a designer who understands space, atmosphere, materials, and storytelling, not just beautiful renderings.
If you believe design is about creating unforgettable experiences, we’d love to meet you.

Responsibilities
• Develop interior and spatial concepts for luxury weddings and immersive experiences
• Create high-quality 3D models and photorealistic renderings
• Produce presentation visuals, moodboards, and design packages
• Design architectural elements, custom furniture, scenic structures, and decorative installations
• Prepare technical drawings and coordinate with fabrication when required
• Transform ideas into buildable, elegant experiences

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field
• Strong experience in luxury interior, hospitality, exhibition, retail, or event design
• Excellent taste and a refined design aesthetic
• Strong understanding of proportion, lighting, materials, and spatial composition
• Highly proficient in SketchUp, 3ds Max, Rhino, or Blender
• Advanced rendering skills using V-Ray, Corona, Lumion, Enscape, or Unreal Engine
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Experience is highly preferred

Bonus Points
• Experience in luxury hospitality or high-end residential projects
• Knowledge of fabrication methods and construction details
• Strong hand sketching ability
• AI-assisted design workflow experience
• Passion for flowers, art, architecture, fashion, and contemporary culture

RakDok Floral Weeks 2026 reminded us that design is never about creating the biggest installation. It is about creating a place where creativity can belong.

RakDok was initiated by Joe Rainforest, Founder of Rainforest The Wedding, as a creative platform where floral design could move beyond weddings and become a shared experience for artists, communities, and the public.

While Rainforest The Wedding creates worlds for once-in-a-lifetime celebrations, RakDok brings the same design philosophy into a more open and accessible space.

A space where ideas can be explored.
Where new designers can be seen.
Where different voices can be heard.
And where creativity can create a meaningful impact beyond a single event.

This year, we intentionally opened the exhibition to emerging designers, our own creative team, and visually impaired artists.

Because great design is not about protecting the spotlight. “It is about creating more lights.”

At Rainforest The Wedding, we carry the same belief. Every wedding we create is never built by one designer alone.

It is the result of many talented people, from designers and artists to craftsmen and production teams, working together toward one unforgettable experience.

RakDok and Rainforest The Wedding may work in different spaces, but they share the same heart.

Beyond Floral Art. Beyond Installation.

Banburi is the latest masterpiece by Joe Rainforest (Joe Rainforest ), founder of Rainforest The Wedding, created for RakDok Floral Weeks 2026.

Inspired by the Sacred Lotus Leaf and the Nymphaea Chalong Kwan, Banburi transforms flowers into an immersive landscape where visitors don’t simply admire the installation—they become part of it.

More than floral art, Banburi reflects Joe Rainforest’s philosophy that great design should not be protected behind barriers, but shared as a living experience. Blending the vision of an artist with the precision of a designer, he creates spaces that invite people to pause, connect, and smile without being asked.

Designing for 50 guests is not easier than designing for 500.

Because when the wedding becomes smaller, every detail becomes bigger.

Many weddings ask, “What should we build?”

We asked, “What deserves to remain untouched?”
